e ride nights

Can you purchase your e ride night ticket days prior to the e-ride night? Or do you purchase them the day of? We are planning on participating when we go in May, but haven't done it before! Thanks for the help!!!

Well, I am not sure about how far in advance you can buy them now. When we were there last time during the Mill. Celebration you had to buy them the day of the e-ride nights. But I don't think they sell out. Also Intercot.com has a good sight for E-ride nights including a map layout of whats open, shops, snack areas etc. Going with kids thats a must know! We are going in May and so far when we will be there they have two nights and we will do both...esp. since animal kingdom closes at 5pm. Good luck getting them they are worth their weight in gold as far as I am concerned...no lines for the big rides, some times you ride multiple times w/o getting off of the ride!

You can buy them at a disney resort up to 3 days in advance. You can buy them at Guest Relations at the theme parks on the day of. Sometimes E-Rides do sell out. I would say at least 1 every 4 months or so (when they are happening regularly) do.

Correct. You need to be staying at a Disney Resort and have a Park Hopping ticket that was used on the day of the event for entry into the park. If you meet those qualifications you are able to purchase them.

OK let me see if I have this right? We are staying on site, mutliday hopper passes. SO...can we buy our eride tickets in advance? I thought it was day of only also but its been 18 mths since we were last there so things could have changed. But we really want to do both of the eride nights that they are available when we are there so if we can buy in advance we will. Thanks for the info!

E-ride nights are great!! Well worth the 12 extra dollars. The tickets can be purchased up to 3 days in advance at guest relations of your resort. They can NOT be purchased at the theme park at all. Make sure you get to the magic kingdom about an hour early to exchange the ticket for a wristband...otherwise the lines can get EXTREMELY long.

DisneyInsider..you said get to the park about an hour early to get the wristband? Dont they start giving them out about 4pm? Or has it changed and you get it in the am? Glad to know we can get them 3 days in advanced now! with the 5 kids ;) (not all ours) the e-ride nights pretty much ensures that the kids will all get to ride the rides they want to during our visit! Thanks for the info!

They start giving them out a couple of hours before the event starts, but the lines are not crowded. If you are in the park already then get them as soon as you can. But when we went we came to the MK after dinner, and the lines were crowded (but they still moved very fast).

Here is a good e-ride day schedule:
-wake up early and go to AK
-Go back to the hotel in the afternoon and relax (swim, nap, shower...etc.)
-Eat dinner either at resort, off property, or at anoter resort (there is not much to eat at the E-ride nights, and you only have 3 hours so you don't want to waste them)
-Go to the MK about an hour or so before the event and get your wristbands (don't go to the mainstreet exchange unless there isn't a line. The other two stations usually have shorter lines)

hey there all!! Yes you can buy your E tix ahead of time. I was there last August and did that a day or two ahead of time!!! Not to get off the post but if anyone needs to know the May 2002 operating hours CALL DISNEY!!!! they have them but the website doesnt!!! And since everyone else is in the know on the E ticket night are there going to be any between May 18th and May 23rd?? Thanks!!

Thanks for the info. I love the scheduel too. I think we will follow something like that since AK closes at 5 anyway, maybe head out of there early let the kids swim, nap whatever, eat and then over to MK! The e-ride nights between 18-23? There is one on the 20th from 8-11pm. The complete list for e-ride nights I found on Intercot. Called disney and seemed to be the same...20, 24, 28 & 31! Now if they would just get back to EE! Guess I am dreaming on that one though. anyone know what characters come to the resorts?? is it worth it or is it crowded? I figure since we are at movies it will be a mad house and the kids can see the characters elsewhere! Anyway...thanks so much for the info! we will buy early and get the wrist bands before its a mad house!

Just as a small point of contention and as a CM.. E-ride tix CAN be purchased if the requirements for purchase are met at theme parks guest relations on the same day of the event. TRUST me on this one :)
