Okay, I give up. Is there a list of e-ride nights for August? I can't find it if there is (which doesn't mean it isn't there, just that I can't find it!).

Heading for the great escape.
Just so happens ive had an E mail from WDW about E ride nights
As you are aware, on specified nights, the Magic Kingdom Park remains open for
three additional hours exclusively for resort guests who have purchased and
redeemed special "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets (formerly "E-Ticket
Express").

July 1, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
August 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22
September NONE

Price: Adults: $12 ($12.72) Children (3-9) $10 ($10.60)

The nine attractions scheduled to operate during "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights"
are: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Buzz
Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, Astro
Orbiter, Country Bear Jamboree and Pirates of the Caribbean. Select dining and
merchandise locations will also be open.

(All Attractions Subject to Rehabs & Other Changes)

Only Walt Disney World Resort guests who are using multi-day or annual passes
for admission to the theme parks are eligible to purchase and redeem "Magic
Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets. The cost is $12 plus tax, or $10 plus tax for
children ages 3 through 9. Tickets may only be purchased at WALT DISNEY WORLD
Resort Guest Services Desks, but are available to all guests staying at a WALT
DISNEY WORLD Resort, including the WALT DISNEY WORLD DOLPHIN, the WALT DISNEY
WORLD SWAN and the DOWNTOWN DISNEY Area Hotels.

Please note that the "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" ticket does not provide
admission into the Magic Kingdom Park; it simply allows guests to remain in the
park for three extra hours. It must, therefore, be used in conjunction with the
admission media previously mentioned. Guests must exchange their "Magic Kingdom
E-Ride Nights" tickets for wristbands at locations inside the Magic Kingdom
Park.

For more information about this event, please inquire at your resort's Front
Desk or Guest Services location upon arrival.
Thank you for contacting WALT DISNEY WORLD!

hope this info is of some use.

Wow. Anyone else remember when the parks were open that late in the summer and it was just called "summer hours," no additional monies required?

I am getting so old. :(

Back in April of this year they had MK Closing around Midnight. It was so nice to be able to go to epcot and then take the monorail to the MK and still have 2 hours!

:D mightyduck-- Yep I remember tooooo!! Sure was great!! You did not have to get up EARLY to do everthing. I could relax Ha Ha, :lookaroun and have a real vacation not have too rush everywhere to stand in line.

I used to get up about ten go to the pool/beach untill three or four go up to the room get cleaned up then head to the MK and the Crystal Cafeteria , where you could get REAL food for $. (yes only one $ not $$$$$) Stay at MK until it closed then go to the game room at the Contemporary untill---- we couldn't stand up any more. Then start all over again! :sohappy:

Those were the days!!!!!!! :D :sohappy:

good question DogsRule! i'm wondering what's up with that too! :veryconfu when my family and i did e-ride nights last month, seems like we had Big Thunder, Splash Mtn., Space Mtn., Haunted Mansion, TTA, Alien Encounter, Buzz Lightyear, Astro Orbiter, and Country Bear. i thought it was odd that they weren't including Pirates at all. i suppose they're doing that now because of the movie. but i'm wondering what happened to Haunted Mansion and TTA...and i wonder why they only allow 9 attractions...why not just add an attraction to the list instead of substituting. *shrugs*

There was a rumor going around a while back that BTMRR would be replaced by POTC on e-ride nights if it were to go under rehab. But I still have yet to here any concrete info on a BTMRR rehab. I just hope this isnt a foreshadowing of things to come. Of course, it could be due to the new movie relase, as Dizknee_Phreek pointed out... But then again, doesnt HM have a movie coming out soon? One would think they would keep that one on the list. Of course, one would also think they wouldn't close down a rather large submarine ride and replace it with a character meet and greet. :brick:

rather low...it usually doesn't sell out--only on peak weekends, really...as long as you get your tickets before 3 or 4 pm on the day of the E-Ride Night, you should be good. As for Pirates replacing Big Thunder...that type of thing happens all the time. One time when I went, they decided Magic Carpets of Aladdin and the Indy Speedway, together, would make up for the fact that Splash Mountain was closed:)

and btw, would august 19 be considered during peak time?

I am pretty sure its Rain or Shine.

I think Aug 19 would be on the edge of the Peak times, you would still have your summer family vacations, but its also close to the first day of school so you also have your families that would stay home.

E Ride Nights almost never sell out. Most families with small children are not willing to spend $12.72 a person to keep their kids out till 1 am--most little kids won't last that long. I've never been unable to get E-Ride Night tickets, even day-of.

Let me get this straight.

Haunted Mansion is NOT open for Eride
Pirates of the Carribean IS open for Eride.

Last May 2003 it was the other way around.

I thought that E ticket type rides were centered in the 2 lands of FrontierLand (Splash, BTMRR) and TomorrowLand (Space Mountain, Buzz, Alien). I know HM is LibertySquare but its practically FrontierLand. In fact, HM is the one I missed last time on the Eride night. Maybe the 4 straight Splash Mountain drops effected my memory.
