E-Mail Codes

Once again, sorry if this has been discussed endlessly but how does one receive these infamous codes? I have been a subscriber of the disneyworld.com site for many, many months now and asked to receive email notifications and have never received any.

Are there any email codes concerning Moderates in December that would best the site's Fall/Holiday Moderate Rate of 89$?

The Room only code which is BAT is good for $85.00 a night at the Moderates. The Dream Maker package code for the same time frame is ZXQT. If you are an Annual Passholder the Code to use is EWP and the rate would be $79.00 a night. All of this information was posted on threads by Kingdom Konsultant on these boards as well after the codes were released by Disney. Hope this helps!!! Belle

I received an email several months ago about discounted rates at the value resorts and moderate resorts. The email gave me a certain pin number that was needed to get the rate.

However, I had to call a number of times to check availability. There was never any availability at the moderates. :brick: But there was at the Fort Wilderness Cabins ($170/night vs. $230/night) and at some of the deluxe resorts. We reserved 3 rooms at the AKL-savannah view for $183/night vs. $315/night. :sohappy: :sohappy: There were also a few rooms at the Contemporary & Wilderness Lodge as well.

It took us a while to find the right rates. I would just be in the habit of calling every day or so. Tell them that you are calling about the specials in later fall. Good luck and have a great trip.

37 days to our fabulous trip to WDW :sohappy: :sohappy:

I recieved an e-mail code the first week of August...but didn't get it until September because I got it at an older email account I don't check very often - almost deleted it as junk mail. I called today and had it applied to my current ressie (you must use a code that was sent to you - no trading, I was on hold for several minutes while they realized that the code had my middle name as my last name, they do indeed check), and got a $49 rate at Pop Oct 21st to Oct 26th. My existing ressie was for $74/night, so it was a nice savings.

Moral of the story - check any email addy you have given to disney for the codes, or better yet - never give them more than one. :)

The more codes the better. ie Florida resident, Annual ticket holder, Disney Visa card, even AAA if everything else fails. Call as soon as codes are released (that day-and early) if they are not available at that time......call back over and over over 2 or 3 times a week, eventually you'll time it right and catch someone else's reservation cancellation.PERSISTANCE is KEY.

I received an email and booked Pop for $49.00 for Oct. Don't know why I received an offer. The only things I know for sure are:

1. I had recently requested a WDW planning video.
2. I am signed in @ disneyworld.com
3. I have a disney credit card.
4. I haven't been to WDW since Oct. '99

I do not have or ever had a AP
I am not and never been a Fl resident.

I guess the codes master works in mysterious ways!!!!!! I think i will go ahead and book POFQ in early december at the 89$ rate. But i am itching to upgrade to AKL.....What i loved about POFQ was its small size and the buses were never loaded and fast to come. How would that scenario compare with AKL? Or is early december such a dead time that this would not even matter?

From what I understand, this is the key. Those "when was the last time you visited..." questions are for more than just curiousity. If you say you've been 5 times in the last year, then they aren't going to jump over themselves to give you a discount code since they know you will probably come anyway and don't need the incentive. Most people I know that have gotten either the E-mail or the postcard rates have been people who answered that they hadn't been recently.

Well, not sure on that one. I was just there in Dec of last year and answered that way on my profile and vacation planning video request. I received my first email code last month. Go figure! I guess joanjett is right... it's a mystery!

That was my first email code since we've been visiting and I didn't do anything special.

It's also done by reigon.

There may not have been a lot of "never visited" from your area who were on the list, so they sent it to people that had visited to meet whatever quota they had.

I'm sure there are other factors as well, but the answer to the "when was the last time?" question, and the grandparents/grandchildren option seems to make it more likely that you get a code. I'm sure there is an element of randomness to it as well - these are just general commonalities many people who have gotten codes have shared.

I have actually gotten two, one the postcard, which was only good for Aug/Sept, and then the e-mail code I just applied to my ressie for the $49 Pop rate. I'm assuming that once I've used one I won't get another - would be great if it worked the other way around (those that use them get more of them), but I don't think Disney works that way.

It's interesting to speculate in any case :).

Same here. First I received a postcard for Aug and Sept then an email for $49 rate for Value/$79 rate for moderate thru Dec. As I said earlier I did take advantage of the $49 rate and booked at Pop for Oct.
