Dynamic pricing at Starbucks?

Hello. We got a peppermint hot chocolate at the HS Starbucks on Saturday afternoon, and it was less than $6, and when we got another one (same size) in the evening at the same location it was more than $6. Seemed kind of odd. Not a big diff in price, but do they use dynamic pricing? Thanks!

One reason why recent Q4 earnings for Starbucks was $9.4 billion.
And it's been a very disappointing stock. $9.4B in revenue. Actual earnings (profit) is much lower which is insane to when you're making $6 hot cocoa. I think Starbucks has some management issues too.

I remember a time when Starbucks never existed within the confines of WDW and the only coffee that was sponsored was a man and his Donkey..
