DVC studios and villas: rack rate vs points rate?

It depends on the resort and the dates. We've rented points several times (from David's Vacation Rentals, and in one case from a well-vetted owner at Mouseowners), and have saved anywhere from 30% to 50% off of rack rate on studios, and about 35% off rack rate on 2-bedroom villas.

All true. You missed my point completely though. The spreadsheet is of limited use for anyone not registered with Mouseowners, who aren’t processing new registrations. So someone reading this thread will have very limited ability to rent points using Mouseowners unless they’re already members of that forum.

I haven't been on Mouseowners for almost a year, so I had no idea that they were not processing new members.

If OP is interested in renting privately, some of the owners I have rented from in the past said it is okay for me to share their emails to prospective renters.
