DVC rooms And Tix Question

So we have our room reservation made at Saratoga, AND we bought our park tix over the phone. We are to pick them up at will-call
My question is, are my wife and I going to have to carry 4 separate cards?
OR is the concierge able to turn them into a key to the world cards?

I don't understand how they work that. Not that 4 cards is a lot, it just seems inconvenient. I am used to having the room and park ticket together.

thanks

I know I am not answering your question but how much of a percent off do you get when you are DVC members?? My hubby and I are looking into buying from Animal Kingdom when we go down.

Thanks

DVC members get $100 off the cost of an Annual Pass, but no discount on regular tickets.

So carrying 2 cards was a breeze.

We bought a 10 day no expiration with park hopper & more. I ran the numbers for us and it was the best buy. We don't go enough in a year to make the Annual pass worth it for us. To answer your question we had to carry 2 cards each. Considering I walk around with a CVS, Bob's, Stop & Shop Super Market and Shaw's Super Market customer cards just in case I need to buy something. So carrying 2 cards was a breeze.

If you purchased your park tickets from Disney they can load them onto your room keys when you check-in. You will each have to carry 1 ticket/room key.

Don't forget to bring your DVC card. :) There are discounts and perks you can get with it. By the way, I carry around most of those cards, too!

We became DVC members last August and immediately bought annual passes ($100 off-yay!). Can we have our annual passes somehow attached to our KTTW cards during each trip or is it only possible to do that for 10 day or less passes?

Annual Passes cannot be encoded onto room keys.
The hotels do not have access to the part of the ticketing system that handles Annual Passes, so they cannot sell, reissue, exchange a voucher or encode an AP. I also believe that they cannot handle FL Resident tickets, either.

Plus, the magnetic strip on the park-issued tickets is more robust than the hotel key cards, so they survive a year's usage more easily than a hotel key card would.

Couldn't say that about my AP one year, I ended up replacing it at least one time during each trip. It just depends on whether or not the machine bends your card.

I wouldn't recommend taking the perks into account when you make your decision. They come and go, and change all the time. When I bought in, there was a small discount on the old "length of stay" passes. That went away, and we got the AP discount, which could go away the week after you buy. NONE of the perks are guaranteed in the contract, so DVC can take any and all of the discounts, etc., away at any time. Sometimes there are a lot of discounts, sometimes not so many.

Stop thinking about it and just do it!!! We bought in about three years ago. Out biggest regret was that we did not buy sooner. We first looked into it in 2000 and did not buy until 2005. We have not had any regrets since.

Do it, do it, 'cmon do it!!!:sohappy:

My big problem with DVC and the reason I have not bought into it, is the room set up. I want a room that has two queen beds, not a pull out sofa and I don't want to have to buy enough points for a two bedroom, that makes no sense.
