DVC Resort + DDP "Special Offer" Summer 2008?

Question for you CMs. Last year from July 29, 2007 through August 25, 2007, there was an offer to purchase the Disney Dining Plan along with a OKW/SSR package for a substantial discount, per person per day. Does anyone know if this (or a similar package) will be offered this summer?

I'm hoping it will--I got a similar offer for the spring (with OKW and SSR) for being a Disney VISA holder (albeit with less-stellar pricing). It seems SSR and OKW are the 'standard' resorts for these offers...maybe they're trying to entice individuals to buy into DVC at those resorts (sure convince us with SSR!)? Or more likely, those are just the DVC resorts with the most available rooms at those times?

Free dining was just offered to the general public, so I though maybe this would be announced around right now, too. Any word?

Thanks for the details! I hope this isn't the only "deal" they offer this summer. I fear that it probably is the only offer. We won't be able to take advantage of this one...

Details of any other offers would be appreciated as they become available (our friend, who is now seasonal, has a month off and is backpacking in CA without internet, so he checks the hub even less than normal now!).
