DVC Rental

This isn't a question about DVC, more how and if you can 'rent' someone elses.

For example if someone has points for SSR but don't want to use them his year, can someone else pay for those points as a one off? If so is this usually cheaper than paying to stay there?

Check out the rent/trade board on wdwinfo.com - here people rent their points for usually about $10 per point. It is much cheaper than paying through the hotel. I have rented points from members on that board with great ease, hope this helps.

Beth Haworth's Disney guide. It's a pretty good e-book for telling you how to save money on your trip. Using someone elses DVC points is one way to do that. Most of the other info is common knowledge you can find on WDWMagic and other websites.

Haven't tried the DVC rental route yet...let us know how it goes.:wave:
