DVC Points I can't use this year

I have 31 points left over to be used by Oct 31, 2008 - does anyone know if I can sell them - or do I just loose them?

Is there are reason they cannot be banked? Are they previously banked points already?

Yep the points were banked - I broke my ankle and we had to move things around last year - and these can't go into next year. Bummer :hammer:!

If you go to DIS Boards, you may be able to rent them. I've never done it myself, but you may find someone planning (or wanting to plan) a trip that's just a little longer than the amount of points they have on hand, and your 31 might just be the boost they need. Many people seem to rent their points between 10 or 11 per. Good luck.

I'll second the dis boards recommendation. But with only 3 months to go, I wouldn't expect you'd get the normal $10-11 per point. In your situation, $6-8 is probably more realistic. But even at $6 at least you'll cover the maintenance fees you paid on those points.

Maybe a point transfer to another DVC member?

I would try MouseOwners and then the DIS boards.
