Wasn't sure if this would be more appropriate here or in DVC, but I just wanted to let you all know about a recent experience I had...
After booking my trip, I got an email from the DVC, saying if I did a 20 minute phone tour I would receive a $25 Disney gift card. So I called, and after less than 10 minutes of friendly chatter with two different CMs, they told me I would be getting info about DVC in the mail, as well as my gift card. Super painless, we didn't even actually talk about DVC at all.
From what I understand, this is sent out to people who have an upcoming trip booked, with the hope that they will buy in beforehand. I would definitely take advantage of this if you get the email!
