Dumbo II?

I watched the 60th anniversary DVD of Dumbo the other day and one of the extras shows "The Making of Dumbo II" (still pictures, interviews with artists, storyline, etc.) but I know that DVD isn't exactly "new" and was wondering if anybody has heard of a release date or if it had been scrapped altogether.

There's going to be a DUMBO II???!!!

Sounds like Lady and the Tramp II....can't they be more creative and come up with an entirely new title, as opposed to the darn II all the time....oh wait they can't do that....then people won't recognize the "brand"....

I hope they stop making all these sequels....I mean whats next Pinnochio II.....(where he becomes a puppet again)...

Yeah, it looked very "sequelish" but still looked cute.

Dumbo and some friends get lost in the big city. (There are two bear cubs, a baby ostrich, etc...(example...the baby ostrich doesn't like Dumbo too much because he's an elephant that can fly...and she's a bird that can't!)

Dumbo II was put off. Not sure if it's dead, but there are no current plans for release.

It was probably put off because they've gotten rid of most of the animation department.:hammer:

Disney Toon...That name makes me want to throw up. It sounds really bad...


But, I give the studio credit for Lion King 1 1/2. The animation in that was superb compared to some of the other stuff they have done.
