I just recently broke my nose and they used a small dose of liquid cocaine to reset my nose. The doctor said it was enough to show up on drug tests and was just wondering if Disney does drug tests. :veryconfu
Thanks.

If you wanna hang out
You've gotta take her out
Cocaine
If you wanna get down
Get down on the ground
Cocaine

She's alright,
She's alright,
She's alright,
COCAINE

If you got that mouse
You wanna kick them blues
Cocaine
When your Disney day is done
And you wanna ride on
Cocaine

She's alright,
She's alright,
She's alright,
COCAINE

If your Disney day is gone
And you wanna ride on
Cocaine
Don't forget this fact
You can't get it back
Cocaine

She's alright,
She's alright,
She's alright,
COCAINE

She's alright,
She's alright,
She's alright,
COCAINE

I would say email your recruiter and ask. Be honest with them and let them know what happen. I am sure that if you can get the medical documentation everything should be ok. But be upfront about it. It's better to let them know now, then down the road and look like you were covering it up. Hope everything goes well.

First of all...if you know you're going to get flamed...why say it?

:hammer:

Second...why do you think that?

Well..first..cuz I dont hold anything back :) Everyone should always say whats on their mind...as long as you can handle the backlash that may ensue.

And why do I think that? heh..I've worked there quite a lot..and its very hard to be THAT happy all the time...and to have THAT much patience for some could require some sort of narcotic assistance. Not saying I AGREE with that..but i've heard quite a few stories.

Really? I would think they would with all the public interaction they would...it's getting pretty standard for most jobs dealing with the public.

just like background checks, Disney doesn't want to pay to drug test it's bottom of the barrel hourly staff

I agree entirely with your post and your view on this...

...and I can vouch that sometimes keeping a smile on your face in front of idiotic guests requires less than legal intervention.

I agree. It's a very good point. People can function very well on certain drugs and performance can be improved.

How much "greenery" I've seen at Vista Way...
...and some of the pretty white powder I saw on Ariel's nose as she exited the ladies room...

...WDW wouldn't be able to function if they drug tested. That's the only way CM's can put up with the mouse.

I can understand your worries-I had a hernia surgery 3 weeks before I was hired at Coca Cola and they drug test. The pain medicine I was on shows up on drug tests as Opium so I had to tell them at the drug place and no biggie.
The guy who gave me the test was joking and said "Sure, you probably just left an Opium den before you came here"

A basic background check costs about $10,000. They don't do background checks. They just do basic public record checks (if that much).

You got a copy of it? You might be the first and only.

Are you sure that what you got wasn't your signed form in which you consented to a background check as opposed to a background check? Disney has permission to do lots of things which they never do... like background checks and drug tests.

Long story made short...

There was an error on my background check....basically something was there that wasn't SUPPOSED to be there. So I got a copy of it. Most of the papers said "No record found." So I had to call Disney and get it straightened out, they had to re-run my report and it came back blank...but I didn't get a copy the 2nd time.
