Dropping groups off at the MK

MKTiggerman..er...mkt informed me that, if one is going to drop a group off to visit the MK (meaning no parking), it can be done a few ways (resort buses, etc.)

Has anyone done this or had any experience dropping groups off - or being dropped off - at the Magic Kingdom Park where no parking charge is involved?

I've usually been dropped off at the Kennel Club parking lot or the guest drop off area (just before the entrance to the Poly). The parking attendant should let you through if you say that you are dropping off guests.

There is a 30 minutes parking lot for this kind of drop off. It is locates to the right when you pass in front of the Transportation and Ticket Center and before the entrance of the Poly. There is a sign that says "guest drop off" and if you say in the toll that your are just going to drop off or pick up someone they will let you going in and let you know how to get there. This parking lot is in the same place where the taxi cab are located.
