Phew what a load off my back. I dropped my Wetsern Civ class today. I was just too far behing. I dug my self a deep hole and mid term is on Wednsday. I just haven't put the necesary time into that class basically because I'm engulfed in work from my art classes. Does this mean I'm not meant for college? I can handle the work load it's just how I went about managing my time between each class. Oh well I feel alot better...I'll just take the class again this summer.

Lots of people drop a few classes here and there. I dropped World Civ. my freshman year. I just caught up on that last spring. It's no big deal. It's certainly better than having a big fat "F" on your transcript! (Not that I'm saying you would have failed.)

When I was in architecture I definitely let my Gen Ed classes slide. There were some classes where I didn't even bother to buy the text books! Studio classes certainly take priority.

Josh, SMART MOVE! A lot of people don't realize they should drop a class until it is too late. Use the extra time for your other classes and take it over later if you need it. :)

I dropped a course three, yes count'em, three times and have yet to finish it. I am thinking fourth time is the charm.

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really dislike the professor who teaches the course. What a she is, and it doesn't help that she wrote the book we use in her class. She is a freak of nature and not the cool Anastacia kind.

She makes this class so uber hard, I am dreading Spring semester. :(

I'm going in tomorrow to drop my economics class. When I signed up for classes, I was planning on transfering next year to a four year college (at community right now). So for some reason an advisor gave me economics... unfortunately its taken me until now to decide that I want to drop it. The good thing is that I get "Withdrawn" as my grade as opposed to a failing grade.

I also decided that I'm gonna stay there and get an Associate in Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology. After that I'm gonna take a few medical courses (namely First Responder with Defibrillation) and then go for some local professional fire department tests.... namely FDNY.

I've never been a school person and this has remained true in college. So I figured if I absolutely have to go to school, I might as well do something that I love. Getting this AAS will not only give me further knowledge of the fire service (which I can use in my volunteer dept), but open the door for me to pursue a career in the field.

Hmm, I don't really have a helpful comment seeing as how I haven't start college yet :) , If it makes you feel any better I don't even know what I'm going to major in!
