driving experience??

Hey everyone I was thinking about getting my husband Richard Petty driving experience for our anniversary when we're there in September. My question is does anyone know if they have weight limits or body dimensions that won't fit in the car ? My husband is 6"5 and 350 pounds does anyone have any input on this experience thank you!

Here's some info from the FAQ on their website:
Are there weight or height restrictions?

Our race cars do not have doors, so participants must have the ability to climb through a 15" high by 30" wide window that sits 36" from the ground. Our driving suits are available up to size 4X.
For the IRE IndyCar open wheel cars participants must be under 6 foot 5 inches and under 250lbs.

You should call the Richard Petty Experience and ask them first hand. That way you know your getting accurate information/pricing, etc.

I am 6' and was close to 300lbs when I did it in 2001. I had no issues getting in or out. A good test is to see if he can fit through the window of your own car (if you have a sedan).

The Petty experience is closing at the end of June 2015... so if you really want to do it you would have to go to Daytona Beach, which is the closest place for it after the one at WDW is closed this June.

I've done the Petty Driving Experience (ride along) at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as well as a 10 lap driving school at Texas Motor Speedway (Nascar cars as well) and they can accommodate a wide variety of body types. Will he be doing a ride along or an actual driving experience? If he's doing a ride along, the passenger seat is a little more accommodating to a wide range of passengers. If he's doing a driving experience they will have a variety of cars that have different driver side seats to properly fit most drivers. If he's doing the DRIVING experience, might be worth a call to make sure they have a car outfitted to accommodate a driver of his size ( I suspect they will).
