I was speaking to this big Canadian guy in July whilst watching " Off Kilter " and both of us were having a beer that we got at the Canada bar.He was from Toronto, anyway he said he's off to drink round the world but always goes Anticlockwise starting at Canada and finishing at Mexico. He said doing it the other way is a big mistake,I just smiled because I wasn't sure what he was getting at.Is it lethal starting at Mexico because you might have a Margarita which are really strong and by the time you get to France your sozzled? Any thoughts on this idea?:)

Hatter- there is a saying here in the US....

Liquor before beer in the clear
Beer before liquor never sicker

I say start at Mexico and go to Canada! I do agree that I would be blitzed by Japan :)

Now theres a plan! :)

I would suggest hitting the places without any real seating first. True that you can find seating in most of the countries, but some are more difficult than others, Japan, China, France, for example. When my best friend and I did this last year (I posted our goofy pictures somewhere else on the board) we started at the International Gateway, and proceeded from France, Morocco, and finished in the UK. By then we were right on time for Illuminations and got a bench near the Rose and Crown. We didn't expect that, we expected to sit in the courtyard where the UK band plays, but we found a bench near the lagoon.

It depends upon what my dear wife wants to drink. My dear wife and I are not big drinkers but... she has to have either 1 San Angel Inn Margarita or 1 Grand Marnier organe slush from France. I will usually get a cider from the Rose & Crown.

She was also very fond of a drink called the Mist at Victoria Falls and she would aways want to tour the Animal Kingdom Lodge and stop and have one but I am told now they only have it on the menu at Jiko.

I can agree with that! We had a margarita in Mexico and were absolutely hammered by the time we hit Norway! 2 Mexicans were laughing at us saying they have this for breakfast! Lol ... And btw we didn't stop to have more booze it was just that 1 margarita that got us hammered! Plus I'm Canadian so alchohol usually isn't a problem until we hit the 13th beer in a two four

Next trip am gonna try Anticlockwise, with a Molson in Canada,a malt in UK,A green chartreuse in France,a cup of tea in Morocco,Saki in Japan, bud in USA,a small ameretto in Italy,a even smaller Snapps in Germany,And a taxi in china to get me back to my resort.
they sell blue, not molson... molson bottles are available inside @ le cellier.

I planned on drinking around the world but over several nights. There are so many drinks I want to try. I am not a big drinker but love to have the odd one. I am not a good drunk I am either really loud and very friendly or really loud and not so friendly. So I prefer to just stick to a few...wouldn't want to get in trouble at wdw.

My first time having drinks in World Showcase I was really taken aback by the pricing. But man do those margaritas and the Slushes in France pack a punch!!! I have to make sure I am properly hydrated in WS to say or things get really goofy!!!

go inside R&C and ask for a Cider and Black...or a Black and Cider. I can never remember which way it is... I love it so much! It is Cider and black current juice. yummy!!!
