Drinking around the world advice?

My boyfriend and I will be spending the actual day of our anniversary in Epcot attempting to "drink around the world." Neither of us have done so before, and while we are familiar with the basics; pace ourselves, make sure we eat, etc, for anyone that has done it before, or at least attempted, what advice would you or do you wish someone had given you? Also, what food/drinks do you guys recommend in the different countries? Thanks!

I'm tiny so my fiance and I shared drinks and it worked out perfectly (more so - he drank all of the beer and I drank all of the cocktails). We did start in Mexico and ended in Canada but double backed to England for fish and chips while watching Illuminations. I would suggest to not rush your time! Go to the shops, explore the pavilion, take pictures (especially one with your drink in each country). Afterward, because Epcot closed at 9 that night, we walked to Fantasia Mini Golf and halfway through started to sober up. Was a wonderful day over all.
I wish I hadn't ordered the Canto Loopy from China. I read reviews for drinking around the world online and this was raved about. It was incredibly too sweet for me, and I love sweet drinks.
If money is tight, I would suggest specifically ordering without the souvenir cups - this does save you some money as you are not paying at the advertised price and is discounted a few dollars. Of course, this is only for those drinks that already say it comes in a souvenir cup.
Drink lots of water. Eat. Take your time. Take pictures. Have fun!

Thank you for the advice. We are going down in a few weeks and was planning to do this one of the days at Epcot as the other day is for the Festival of the Arts. We are not big into souvenir cups. They are cool when you have one and walking around the park but where do you store them when you finally get home. That is our problem or how to get them on a plate without break them. I don't know your personal taste, but the Tequila Mexican Sangria at La Cantina de San Angel was the best paired with "Guacamole con totopos" (Chips & Guac). I also loved the Tipsy Ducks in Love that I got at a cart in China. I recommend sharing some of the drinks if you don't drink frequently. We also started at 4pm and only had until 9pm, so if you spread it out starting at 11am or noon, you'll probably be fine. But it also saves money to share, those drink prices add up like crazy. But it was loads of fun. If you use snapchat, be sure to save the full story as a video at the end of the night! I love looking back on it! I also recommend using a Drink Around the World Showcase passport. My friends and I all got ours from https://adventuresforfunatics.com/ and bought cheap lanyards and mini-sharpies on Amazon. That website even has "Snacking Around the World Showcase" or "Hello Around the World Showcase" options, which are fun if you are going with others who don't drink!

But honestly, just have fun and try new drinks! I loved it! Enjoy!

I've just seen way too many wasted people escorted out by security, it's ruined the idea of "drinking around the world" for me. If I have a long vacation booked, I'll spread this across multiple afternoons/evenings. Cross a few countries off the list each time without the threat of a hangover or escort out of the park.

Get yourself a souvenir bucket of popcorn in future world, then eat all the popcorn. When you get to World Showcase, order a drink at every country and pour it in the bucket. Once you have made it all the way around the world, chug the bucket. You will have successfully drank your way around the world and may still be standing. In ten minutes, you probably will hit the floor. Enjoy!
