Drink around the World - Beer List?

Any chance anyone has a good list to show all of the beers you can get at each country around World Showcase? I've been searching for about an hour now, with no luck other than little tidbits here and there. Surely, someone must have compiled one by now.

Funny you should say that, I was looking for the same myself. Some countries list the beers, other say "Selection of Beers from country". The selection changes over the years as sponsorships change.

The sad thing, in my opinion, is that most if not all of the beers available in the World Showcase are easily accessible in Smalltown, USA. (I worked in a liquor store for years and I have yet to see a beer at EPCOT that I could not get at home.)

I'm sure there are many wildly popular beers in the WS countries that we cannot find at our local gas station. Don't get me wrong I still like many of our imports but I wish Disney would also offer good beers that we could probably not experience without actually visiting the country of origin, or EPCOT of course. :animwink:

I agree with Mimi about finding a lot of World Showcase beers. The only beer I haven't really been able to find outside of WDW was Tusker in the AK and AKL.

Does anyone know the typical price range for these beers? I don't need specific prices for each, just a general range. I've read on other topics that they are fairly reasonably priced.

Oh, man I love Stella. I can't wait to have one in the World. You've just recently been able to find Stella in the midwest since Anheuser Busch bought InBev, the company that brews it over in Belgium.

I'll probably go for the Dos Equis or the Sol over in Mexico. I heard great things about Sol, then heard it tastes like water, so I guess I need to find out for myself.

I'm sure France has some beer, just haven't been able to find out what it is.

Sol is very popular here right now, not quite Corona level.

I would have hoped France would have had some Belgian Trapiste ales.Thinking about it I only really remember wife beater and Kronenburg from my French trips.
Oh and Jupiler but that may be Belgian or Dutch.

The beer served at the uk, is not great, the harp stinks and i love harp, i would say the best beer they have is stella but only have one bottle as its nicknamed wife beater for a reason. As for the guinness , well its not the real stuff lol i dont know why but for some reason it does not taste the same in the states as what it does back home.

If only they had Magners or Bulmers Cider in Epcot. I couldn't imagine how refreshing one of those would be on a warm humid day!:slurp:

Canada really needs to add Sleemans to its available beers. That is certainly the number one decent beer in Ontario. Unibrou too.

Most are available with the exception of 2 that I can think of. Tennents possibly the best Lager anywhere (available at the Rose and Crown Pub)' and Rignes (no longer available at Norways pavilion). I have tried to locate them, and neither one is available in my neck of the woods, and we have some great specialty stores here.

Around $7.00 for a 20oz. cup.

Just a theory of mine, but I think beers, and ales for sale to the USA are toned down from what they taste like in their countries of origin. They are for what our taste buds are accustom to. I think Eric Idle described it best when he said "American beer is like making love in a canoe".
