Dress code at Narcoossee's?

Did a quick search and couldn't find any other threads on this- sorry if there are.

Ok so I have a reservation tomorrow night at Narcoossee's... I didn't realise until now there is a dress code? How strictly is this enforced- the smartest things my other half has here are only his black combat shorts, black t-shirts and grey trainers?! He does have some jeans... anyone have feedback for the "dress code"?

None of those will work. The dress code is officially what we in the US would call "Business Casual"...does he not have some slacks?

Had to look up slacks on google lol! Hmmm well they look like what I would call his "combat shorts" look like... black knee length shorts... though these have pockets...
He doesn't have anything else with him no, we didn't really think (well, I have plenty of clothes! ) of having to dress really smart anywhere... we've been to 2 signatures so far but they didn't list a dress code..
If we get there and he's turned away will we then have the cancellation fee?!

Actually, all of those things will work. The only items strictly forbidden are hats, tank tops on men, ripped or turn clothing (including cutoffs), swim wear, and clothing with objectionable graphics or language. The shorts, t-shirt and trainers are all fine. It's been several years since the signature restaurant dress code was strictly enforced and disallowed items like t-shirts and athletic shoes, and even then, Narcoossee's was one of the more lax about it. Disappointingly so, even.

I doubt you will be turned away, but if you are, just go to the resort and buy him some pants.

They won't charge you the fee, if you gripe enough. Enjoy dinner!

Cool we'll just go along and see what happens then! And actually... all the shorts/pants in the shops have Mickey logos on- getting him in a pair of those if need be would be quite amusing to me! He's not a character wearing type of guy (unless it's Darth, Grumpy or Stitch lol!)

Better yet, shop at the GF stores. Much more of golf type, (and maybe even some Lily Pulitzer mens pants) small change from black cargo shorts.

Been a number of times. Mostly in shorts and a t-shirt. Same for my son, and my wife will wear a t-shirt (or summer type blouse) and capris. Never had a problem. I think officially the dress code is business casual, but I've never seen this enforced. We even wear the same to the Yachtsman! :)
