Dreams Come True with Cinderella Transformation Effect

Okay so I know I posted this a while ago on another thread but I thought a thread could work. Here's the effect that I'm sure will be used in the M&G we will be getting here for the FLE. It was originally used more than a decade ago at Tokyo Disneyland for their 15th Anniversary. It was used in their castle forecourt show Viva Magic. If you look it up you'll see that it beats any show on our castle stage, and that was in 1998.

Very nice find. I swear Tokyo gets te best stuff. That has to be the best costume change I've ever seen. It would be great if that is used here when/if the cinderella attraction opens. Obviously it wouldn't use pyro but there are plenty of other fog effects or ways to obscure things out there. Frankly it happens so fast the smoke isn't even really needed.

My understanding was that Orlando would be sharing the development costs on this effect with something else in use over at Tokyo. I guess the "magic" happens at the point of a nearby bench, so if you're watching the effect and want to see how it's done, I guess the bench will be the focal point of the action.

The effect is fairly obvious in the fact that she's wearing one dress on top of the other, but the collar and the headband is pretty cool. Hopefully they can get the dress less poofy in the beginning and figure out how to get her hair down. and then up.
