Dreams about WDW

So every once in a while I have dreams related to Disney World, and they're always in one of two categories:

1) Everything goes wrong and I get there and forgot the tickets, drove the wrong way for hours, overslept, etc. and the trip is ruined one way or another.

2) I go to the parks but they're NEVER anything like the real parks, just some really weird dream version where everything is way different - just these weird, very strange park layouts where the rest of the dream is normal and happy but when I wake up I think "that is nothing like anything that exists"

Anyone else? Anyone have fully normal dreams where they go to the normal parks and have a great time? Can you sign me up for those instead?

I've had these many times! Some are so surreal it's hard to tell what's going on, others are as plain as day. One I can recall had the Electrical Water Pageant running in the daytime, in the lagoon outside the MK!

My dreams about Disney world are always nightmares. I'm in the parks and time is racing and I don't/can't ride anything, eat anything, experience anything. Everything is closed when I get to it. I run around like a fool through throngs of people and wake-up exhausted. What a downer.
Yes! Exactly! The start of the dream is like "hell yeah I'm at DIsney let's do this" and then by the end of it I'm doing the math like "I've been here for 9 hours and I haven't done anything what is going on"

Mine are more of the sort where somehow, someway.......I'm able to move to Florida and live within 15-20 minutes of WDW. Then I get all my resident APs and love life having the option each day of "go to Disney today or not".

In the Parks
Yes
I always have dreams in the latter category. For example, once I had a dream I was walking around Epcot in the 90s, but all the buildings were made of brick! I also had one where I was at Epcot the day the Imagination pavilion was being demolished.

Yep, this is EXACTLY how all my WDW/Disneyland dreams turn out. I get to the park, the layout is different but it never seems to really bother me in the dream and then I've been there for hours and haven't ridden or eaten anything though I am dying to then closing time is approaching and I start to panic

I've been having a recurring dream of a new indoor show in the France Pavilion that starred Marie,Toulouse,Berlioz and Duchess teaching guests about French music and art. Complete with a meet and greet area next to the show building.

My Disney nightmare is always the same. I am on the bus heading to MCO and I'm saying wait I didn't get to Epcot, and I didn't visit the Haunted Mansion and I didn't see... then I wake up.

I had a dream that I was biking to Disney World from my home :D. Which would be quite the accomplishment considering I live in New Brunswick, Canada - a 27 hour drive...lol. It seemed much closer in the dream! I have also had a few dreams where I am losing my cool because I want to start the day and my travel partners are seriously slowing me down. So frustrating :hilarious:.

A few of my dreams have been meeting up with... adult entertainers and having PG-rated adventures in WDW. Also, once I dreamed I met George Clooney over by the Odyssey in Epcot.

I had a dream a few days after the closing of Maelstrom. I went with a bunch of my friends to Maelstrom the day before it was to close, (even though when I dreamt that it was already closed.) and we got on a gondola to ride it. We went through the 2 beginning scenes, then there was an Native American scene, then we all had to get out of our boat, pick it up, and put it on the next scene. Then we went backwards down the waterfall and a CM then hoisted our boat up to the unloading dock with all of us in it. When we got out, it looked like Morroco, but with a bright sunset, and I remember telling everyone that I was gonna miss the ride, but I was glad I got to ride it one more time before it closed. Then I suddenly woke up. It was one of the most surreal dreams I've ever have.

Wow, I have had many dreams about WDW. The thing is, all of my dreams are very disjointed and usually do not make much sense, almost like a constant acid trip ;) In most of my WDW dreams, the parks look nothing like they actually do, but in the dream I know it is WDW-the thing is, I always just walk by the rides and never do anything. I've even had a dream where they opened a mini-MK in the same city that I live in-which is a city in Ontario, Canada lol Try riding Splash Mountain in January in sub-freezing temperatures.

I always have nightmares where I'm late arriving to the Syracuse airport and don't make the flight to Orlando. I also have nightmares that I sat through Country Bears Jamboree a few times in a row.
