Does anybody know the historical dates for the dreaded crane that installs the lights on the castle? I would like to avoid that at all costs while planning this trip...

Not sure of the exact dates, but it was up when we were there mid-September last year.

I believe it is sometime in September or October. I too wish they made it more discreet, or at least make it an over night thing.
