Ok, I am very bored right now, so I thinking of rides I would LOVE to see come to Disney World. I know most of these are unlikely, but like I say this is just me thinking up ideas and seeing what people think. Don’t laugh either, I'll cry.
1. Ok, my favourite movie of all time is The Nightmare Before Xmas. Yes I know it could be the Haunted Mansion soon. However. I want to see a full ride for this movie. It has become hugely popular over here in UK and seems in Disney Parks as well. What kind of ride you say? well, I don’t really know. Not a rollercoaster. Basing the idea of the ride being about Jack Skellington vs Oogie Boogie, the ride could be done like Roger Rabbit ride in Disneyland or Cat in the Hat in IOA. Using the rotating cars for Oogie Boogies roulette wheel, which he is famous for. Just an idea.
2. Yes Finding Nemo is great. So everyone loves it. Living Sea is starting to use Nemo and friends. Good for them. However it would be great to see Living Sea introduce a new show based on Nemo to update the pavilion. I reckon a 3D show with Nemo and Dory would be great. Ok the story I cant exactly work out, but a feature it could use is to introduce seats a bit like the Shrek ride (although I am not a fan of that show). The seats could sway a bit from side-to-side and move like a fish would. This could speed up to reflect the speed of Dory and Marlin swimming. I don’t know, just another silly idea.
3. Next, Ok this is only an updates but I would love to see updates of several rides...first off..Food Rocks. Before you say its a classic etc I do love the show. I am a big fan of the show. I am not asking for it to be destroyed or started again from scratch but I think its in need for a few singers to go and a few to be introduced. 8 years ago you would hear people laugh at everyone, knowing who it was and the song. However now it rare to hear that volume of laughter, it may be that they have already seen the show or it could be that the singers are dated. I would keep the classic singer but one or two need to be updated. I would get rid of Pita Gabriel and Niel Mosuakka (spelling??). They could be replaced with more familiar singers. I don’t know!
4. Body Wars and Making of Me. Both Wonders of Life attractions. I have heard rumours of closure. I hope not. That would only end up being replaced by a E-ticket attraction (Horizons and World of Motion). Both rides do seem old to me, they look dated and seem in need of an update. Body Wars is simple, all it needs if for the film to be redone. Use modern CGI to recreate the inside of the body, you could use the same dialogue, same motion. Just please Disney, update the actual video. It looks old and detracts from the ride experience. The Maiking of Me? well I guess it could be a new show? that I don’t know. Just how I feel.
5. Villains. I am a huge fan of the Villains. I love the Villain store in MGM. I love the premise of Mickey vs all the Disney Villains in Fantasmic. Wouldn't it great to see a Villain ride. Maybe the villains could team up in a ride and try to punish the people on the ride. Kind of like the Spiderman ride, where they all attack the people riding. Using that the Villain ride could also be in 3D. I know it copying but think of the possibility. Imagine riding this ride. Hades could through a fire ball in your face, and you would feel the heat. Ursula could soak you in a whirlpool whilst you spin out of control. Scar could put you in the middle of a Stampede. The big finale of the ride could be Malificent turning into the huge dragon right in front of your face. I like this idea actually, hehe. Well I am only 18 so you cant expect a full detailed ride.
6. Last one I guess of this time. Magic Kingdom. Fantasyland. The Little Mermaid Section (sorry forgot its real name). So you've went there and got your photo with Ariel, what now? Well you look over Fantasyland and wonder what that big lake is in the middle (where 20 000 leagues under the sea was). Well its the new Ariel ride. I dont think they should use the old submarines for this one. I am not a technician or anything so I dont know what’s possible but a more themed vehicle could be used to go under the sea and sea Ariel, King Triton etc. Just like the previous 20,000 league ride, you'd go under the water and see all the characters from the film. Ok it wouldn’t be an E-Ticket ride, but it would fill the space. It would be an extra ride that kids would love. It would build upon the Ariel section. What you think?
