No prob, keep up the good work. I love the homages to the past you've done with Stargate and Electric Umbrella.

The idea of delving even deeper into the parks with ride-throughs has piqued my interest.
Thanks! Good to know… I don’t have a ton of experience in writing ride-throughs but I will cook some things up. Maybe I’ll sprinkle them in here and there between the lands.

-We interrupt this programming for an Adventureland interlude-

🦜
Jungle Cruise

Ride-through

il_fullxfull.1909508224_kxbb.jpg

Park: Dream Disneyland

Land: Adventureland

As we walk along the paths of Adventureland, there is a clear divide on either side of our trail. To the right, a messy conglomeration of buildings of many architectural styles - Polynesian, French and British Colonial, Sub-Saharan African, South Asian. Merchants barter with passersby in the local bazaar, war drums crash in the distance, and the scent of fresh, tropical fruit wafts through the air. With such a cultural mixture as this, we could only be in one place: Adventure Isle. But this lost island isn't just a cultural mishmash; no, this tropical paradise is known for something else - something more mysterious.

bed3e9c7711aec5f7296159bc71635f5.jpg

On the other side of the road, there lies a rather dilapidated boat house and docks that look one bad day away from collapsing into the river. And beyond, a lush, tropical jungle, teeming with life. Tropical flowers, a serene river, and glowing eyes from the dark spaces between the trees... yes, these are the jungles of Adventure Isle. Mysteriously, the forest calls to us, as if beckoning our adventurous spirits. Nervously and excitedly, we enter the old boat house, unaware of what adventures our future may hold.

DJNk_COVoAAKPzm.jpg

Upon entering the boat house, we see a sign reading "World Famous Jungle Cruise, Sponsored by the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd." Old maps, ancient relics, and animal specimens - stuffed or otherwise - fill the space, and posters advertising tours of the jungle hang on the walls. Big band music crackles through the old-timey speakers, reminding us of our far-away civilization back home, as a radio reporter fills us in on all the goings-on in the jungle. From his report, it would appear these so-called "Jungle Cruises' are a bit accident prone...

After making our way through the boat house, we find the old docks, creaking and bending with each small wave of the river. Small steam boats with candy-cane-striped coverings arrive one by one to collect unsuspecting travelers for their tours of the jungle's rivers, and we're next in line. Piloting our vessel is a young skipper, looking awfully pleased with himself considering the state of the place. As we enter the boat, our skipper greets us cheerfully.

image.jpg

"Welcome aboard the world famous Jungle Cruise! I'll be your skipper for as far as we get. Just a few safety reminders: Please keep your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the boat and remain seated at all times, as we are not held responsible for any piranha, tiger, or snake bites that may or may not occur on our journey. Not that that's ever happened or anything..."

The boat engine buzzes as our vessel begins to depart from the dock and into the untamed wilderness. The wooden boards of the docks are replaced by the mossy, overgrown banks of the forest. "In case you missed it," says our skipper, "we just passed into the jungle, where it rains at least 485 days a year. Almost every day!"

UTwIsyqqw1NQq59pU4ByT84OQBjMqJqbUbtSYzTbD-m69jRaTxqKBD7K9em51jJjmy_5bp-rAH5rIxOH5xTRV07szdMHaH4

Our boat makes a turn and we find ourselves surrounded by ruins. To our left, a fierce tiger stands, growling and ready to attack. "Our first stop is this ancient Cambodian shrine. Notice that Indo-Chinese tiger? Fun fact: There's a reason those animals have stripes. It's because they don't want to be spotted. Did you know they can jump up to twenty feet? Don't worry though, we're only ten feet away, so he'll jump right over us!"

We turn another bank and stumble upon a herd of Asian Elephants bathing joyously in the falls. "Oh! Isn't this beautiful?" asks the skipper. "We're coming up on a sacred Indian elephant bathing pool! If any of you brought your cameras, feel free to take pictures - they all have their trunks on. Looks like the whole herd came out to visit us today! That's a pretty rare sight... practically un-herd of!"

lf

An elephant rises up from the river ahead of us and begins spraying water with its trunk, but the skipper responds swiftly. "No, no, no, buddy. We talked about this. Sorry guys, sometimes he acts like he's gonna squirt the boat but... oh, he's not kidding, everyone down! ... Just kidding. I would never put you guys in real danger."

As if on queue, after we pass the elephant, a huge spout of water erupts from the river ahead. "Woah," says the skipper. "Real danger... Let's get closer!" The engine revs as we carelessly head toward the unknown danger. As we do so, we come upon barrels of oil in the water, and, on the shore, a tribe of baboons, evidently shoving the barrels into the river.

images

"Oh will you guys stop monkeying around?" Just ahead, a troupe of gorillas has appropriated an explorer's camp, messing around with all sorts of equipment. The explorer's truck has been flipped precariously on its side, and one curious gorilla has taken the explorer's handgun, and is wielding it rather carelessly...

"I see a band of gorillas is calling the shots! Uh oh, looks like the old explorer's truck is in bad shape. He'll never get that engine to turn over... That is just bananas. We'd better split."

Beyond the trashed camp, we see a beautiful waterfall cascading into the ever-flowing river. "Just ahead, folks, is the beautiful Schweitzer Falls, named for the esteemed founder of the Jungle Navigation Company, Dr. Albert... Falls. They say more water comes down these falls in one minute than a man can drink in his entire lifetime, but I find that a little hard to swallow, don't you?"

images

Past the falls, we see two mighty elephants trumpeting away. "Here we have a couple of African bull elephants. These are the second most feared animal in the jungle. What's the most feared animal? Everybody's mother in law."

As we pass the elephants, we see the green, verdant banks shift into muddy, red formations, signifying our entrance into the savannahs of Adventure Isle: rolling grasslands dotted with acacia trees and termite mounds. In the distance, we see herds of all sorts of African wildlife, from towering giraffes to intimidating wildebeests. "And here we are in the savannah everyone! This place is filled with all kinds of animals, so I'll do my best to point them out to you. In the front, we have the stripy horses, and in the back, the long necked cheetahs." A giraffe - or, "long-necked cheetah" - looks our way curiously.

336532120_605659748137878_1619220499691336476_n.jpg

Moving past the savannah, we stumble upon a pride of lions in a cave, having an evening meal of fresh zebra. Our skipper is quick to chime in, "Aw, look! Those lions are protecting the sleeping zebra. How cute! Let's let him rest in peace."

We continue forward, discovering a band of explorers who have scrambled up a limbless tree, trying to escape an especially angry rhinoceros. "Let that be a lesson to you, folks. Never get into an argument with a rhino. He always gets his point across... in the end."

jungle-cruise-update-2021-2.jpg

We turn another bank, and bubbles can be seen in the water ahead. "Uh oh, everyone. We've just stumbled into a pool of dangerous hippopotami. Just last week these guys charged and sank six of our boats. We're in big trouble... Everyone cover your ears, I'm gonna scare them off!" Just as a hippopotamus opens its gaping mouth to take a chomp out of our boat, the skipper fires a shot into the air and the hippo backs off. "Whew," sighs the skipper. "That was close. This almost ended up like last time... I'm still trying to live that down... But we're not out of the woods yet, folks. If we were, there would probably be fewer trees."

Up ahead, we see a boat labelled "Congo Kate", capsized into the water, with a band of chimpanzees having taken over its management. "Oh look, everyone, it's one of our boats... How did that get there?" asks the skipper, nervously. "It's kind of funny, actually. Just the other day someone said my job was so easy a monkey could do it. Those are apes, for the record."

Jungle-Cruise_Full_40710.jpg

Floating past, we come upon a grove of beautiful plants. "Let me distract you from that debacle by pointing out some of my favorite plants in the jungle: That one. That one. And that one." The skipper refuses to elaborate. Next, we stumble upon something truly magnificent.

MG_8487V2-72.jpg

Coming back to Schweitzer Falls from a new angle, our skipper becomes overjoyed. "Alright folks. This is the moment you've been waiting for. The one... the only... the eighth wonder of the world..." As we pass behind the falls, our skipper shouts triumphantly: "The backside of water! Don't try this at home or you'll just hit your head on the back of the sink. Don't ask me how I know."

After the life-changing moment at the falls, we encounter a bunch of boulders sticking up out of the river. "At this point in the journey," points out our skipper, "I like to acknowledge some of the local geology. All these rocks are actually limestone! A lot of people take them for granite. Personally, I think they're marble-ous. How about you? I probably should've been boulder with that joke..."

Up next, we turn a corner and the river comes alive with activity, splashing in a tumultuous craze, with the occasional silhouette of a fish being spotted. "Oh no! Hungry, hungry piranhas!" Our skipper screams as we speedily escape from the danger. "I don't know how they got all the way here from Hungary, but I'm not sticking around to find out!"

After our daring escape, we come upon a giant snake coiled around a massive tree trunk. "That, my friends, is a boa, sitting in a tree. H-I-S-S-I-N-G. Make sure you don't get too close to him or he might develop a crush on you. Trust me, that relationship is not one you want to get wrapped up in."

PythonRedone.png

Beyond the boa, we find a man in a grass skirt holding what appears to be a shrunken human head. He seems to be smiling and friendly though, and our skipper adds, "That right there is Trader Sam, head salesman of the jungle. He's got a sale going on currently: two of his heads for one of yours! It's a good deal. Don't lose your head about it."

Past Trader Sam, we come across a truly mysterious sight: A massive, South Asian temple with an opening leading into the unknown interior.

DluoITpXgAAuGqp.jpg

"And here it is, folks... perhaps the greatest adventure of them all... the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Indiana Jones is in there right now saving people from certain doom! Tourists... I almost became an archaeologist myself, but I didn't want my career to end in ruins. Anyway, why don't we drop in for a visit?"

We venture into the temple, unaware of the mysteries inside. As the light of day is lost, we view piles of treasure on every side... guarded by hissing cobras. "Why did it have to be snakes?" laments our "fearless" skipper.

A4O4GOPRTRDAHGIFUZEGTYEGK4.jpg

As we round a bend, a view unlike any other appears. Giant statues of fiery gods - explosions rocking pebbles from the ceiling - vehicles careening around corners, searching for a way out - a runaway ore car twisting and turning above us - and, in the distance, a locomotive chugging along a railroad track. This is the Lost Expedition of Adventure Isle.

lost-expedition-indy.jpg

"Wow... this is intense. Let's get out of here before things get too heated." Just then, a burst of flame erupts just to our right. "Spoke too soon!" We speed up and exit the temple, entering the light of day once more.

On the shore, we find a hut that appears to be full of random nick-nacks, including everything from a trumpet to a top-hat to a pair of monkeys fighting over a some polka-dotted boxers. A sign on the front reads "Lost & Found", but has been boarded over with a sign reading "Trader Sam's Gift Shop". Our skipper points out, "Looks like Trader Sam's taken over the old lost-and-found. He's never been one to pass up an opportunity to get a-head in life." In the distance, we come upon the docks of the Jungle Cruise, signifying journey's end.

n13_disney_jungle_cruise_gift_shop_concept_art

As we arrive at the dock, we have a sense of relief, as well as the pride of a jungle explorer. ""Alright folks," says the skipper, "looks like it's time for the most dangerous part of the journey: the return to civilization. If you look to your left, you'll find a dock. And if you look to your right, you'll find another dock. I know that can be confusing, so we just call that a pair-o-docks. Make sure to keep your hands, arms, feet, legs, heads, shoulders, knees, and toes inside the boat; adults, please watch your children; and refrain from standing until the boat comes to a complete stop - we don't want you to get caught between the boat and the dock. That's what we call pier pressure. I've never been so good at goodbyes, so I'm gonna make it short and sweet. Get out. Oh, I'm so sorry! That wasn't sweet at all! Please... get out."

And that was my first attempt at a full ride-through! How'd I do? Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

-We interrupt this programming for a New Orleans Square interlude-

🏴‍☠️
Pirates of the Caribbean
Ride-Through

51BKlvXgFiL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg

Park: Dream Disneyland
Land: New Orleans Square

Wandering past the bustling streets of New Orleans Square we come upon some old docks to our left, undoubtedly once home to swashbuckling pirates, still in use only by the steamboats of the Rivers of America. We still here the faint echo of jazz and smell the distant aroma of beignets, but the party is now out of reach, for we have wandered into Lafitte's Landing. To our right, an ornate, Spanish Colonial building rises above the skyline of New Orleans, not unlike the historic Cabildo. It is here where our adventure begins.

6604342a93970.image.jpg

Entering underneath the archways and wrought iron balconies of this beautiful building, we find posters and paintings of some of the most dastardly rogues in the Spanish Main. Just in front of us, we see a short brick wall holding back a flowing river of water, with boats floating by from time to time. A parrot squawks, occasionally speaking pirate phrases. Turning left, we walk along the brick walls of the building when, suddenly, we are transported to a riverside wooden dock. Soft, instrumental music plays in the background as we make our way around wooden switchbacks and up to our vessel.

28853260592_500f3bba95_b.jpg

Stepping aboard our boat, we hear some words from an unseen sailor. "Ahoy there, crew! For your safety, remain seated, keeping your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the boat - and watch your children. And no flash pictures! Prepare to make sale!" Being thoroughly briefed, we set sail into the bayous of Louisiana. All is quiet, except for the chirping of crickets and frogs and the occasional birdsong. To our left, the cypress trees and jagged roots of the swamp are silhouetted in the twilit sky - but for the seldom flash of a firefly - along with the glowing eyes of watchful alligators. To our right, the Blue Bayou restaurant sits, accompanied by the faint, distant chatter of restaurant patrons.

26857795343_4b5b90353a_b.jpg

Venturing further into the swamp, several ramshackle cabins can be seen upon the water, lit only by dim lamplight, while several small boats are adjacently docked. The quiet strumming of a banjo can be heard from within one of the cabins as a friendly, bearded old man sits upon his porch in a rocking chair, no doubt reminiscing on a time of treasure and adventure...

Turning the corner, we come across an archway of brick. On the peak of the archway is a pirate hat-wearing skull and crossbones, keeping watch over the secrets that follow. His dusty old jaw opens as he lets out these ghostly words in little more than a whisper... "Psst! Avast there! It be too late to alter course, mateys - and there be plunderin' pirates lurkin' in every cove, waitin' to board. Sit closer together, and keep your ruddy hands inboard. That be the best way to repel boarders. Ye come seekin' adventure and salty old pirates, eh? Sure, you've come to the proper place. But keep a weather eye open, mates, and hold on tight - with both hands, if you please. There be squalls ahead, and Davy Jones waiting for them what don't obey. Mark well me words, mateys: Dead men tell no tales."

8a6e1e84b26d746cad11cf9c92ee5ad9.jpg

Upon hearing these ominous words of wisdom, we feel a jolt, and plunge into a dark abyss below. With a splash, we crash down into a multi-colored cavern, hearing a jolly band of unseen pirates echoing their song through the stone corridor: "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me! We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We extort, we pilfer, we filch and we sack. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! Maraud and embezzle and even hijack. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We kindle and char, inflame and ignite. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We burn up the city; we're really a fright. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We're rascals and scoundrels. We're villains and knaves. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We're devils and black sheep. We're really bad eggs. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! We're beggars and blighters and ne'er-do-well cads. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! Aye, ut we're loved by our mommies and dads. Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!"

Our boats exit out of the thin corridor and into a large, cavernous grotto. Replacing the jovial singing of the ghostly pirates is a faint echo of a melancholy song, followed by intermittent warnings that "dead men tell no tales". Ominously beautiful, the cavern is full of cascading waterfalls and spectacular stalactites, with one rock formation resembling a skull - perhaps an omen of what awaits us down this cursed path.

Venturing further, we find a sandy patch of land to our right - the final resting place of several unlucky swashbucklers. One figure lies outstretched on the ground, while crabs investigate his remains; another lies impaled to a rock by a pirate's cutlass, with a seagull nesting in his old pirate hat. A shovel sticks up out of the sandy ground, painting a picture of what these unfortunate knaves were up to when they met their ends.

DSC_0315.jpg

Rounding a bend, we see to our right what appear to be old jail cells, their bare-boned inhabitants still standing, arms outstretched, offering a bone to a now long deceased dog, holding the prison keys in its mouth.

2016-12-12_0278.jpg

Moving further, the somber echo of music shifts into an instrumental version of "A Pirate's Life for Me". We encounter what would be a jovial scene - were it not for the fact that all the participants are skeletons. It appears to be the crew's quarters, where one pair of deceased crewmates sits still at a long-stalemated game of chess, and another pair still appear locked in a state of enjoying a round of rum.

potc-tavern-with-redd-lr.jpg

To our left, the once-magnificent captain's quarters, filled with relics and prizes from his many adventures at sea. The captain himself, long dead, still lies in bed, admiring a jewel from his collection, as an old harpsichord plays the pirate's tune all on its own.

be36e4538204c1a45aa3c94b6d8b4149.jpg

Moving further, we encounter an old pirate vessel being battered by a powerful tempest. The music changes once more, bringing an unnerving feeling to our journey. Thunder crashes, lighting up a skeleton figure still piloting the ship, manning the wheel through the storm. Another thunder clap seems to strike the figure, and, before our eyes, he transforms into Captain Jack Sparrow himself.

Captain-Jack-Sparrow-1-1024x576.jpg

"Treasure. You're looking for it too, eh? That's why you all came here: to be a pirate... like me, Captain Jack Sparrow. Well, you've come to the right place. Come along then, you scurvy dogs. We're going for the greatest treasure of all... the sunken treasure of Davy Jones. And by we... I mean you. After all, somebody's got to keep watch up here. Savvy? Now go on. Treasure awaits."

With music swelling, the waves crash upon our vessel, sending us careening down into the depths of the sea, passing sunken ships, ravenous sharks, and beautiful coral reefs. But not all is well here in the depths... Something stirs from the ocean floor, one massive tentacle at a time. It's the kraken! We move under the skeleton of a sunken ship to escape its clutches, but its massive eye can be seen from beyond the cracks in the rotting hull.

the-kraken-full-body-refrences-and-behind-the-scenes-image-v0-9kwlrmdzwwfd1.jpg

Moving on, we pass through a graveyard of ships, where mermaid songs can be heard echoing through the water, along with faint glimpses of the sirens. Coming upon a pile of treasure, we hear grimy pirate voices whispering from behind the gold: "People are here to steal the treasure again," says one voice. "We must inform the guards," says another. The first pirate replies, "You numbskull. We are the guards." "Oh."

Venturing further, we come upon the most feared ship in the Seven Seas: The Flying Dutchman, with its formidable form casting a massive shadow over the ocean floor. This must be the location of the sunken treasure. Nervously, we move closer, finally entering through the broken hull - but not before a pirate with the head of a hammerhead shark pops up from behind the treasure, exclaiming, "You're lookin' for the treasure o' Davy Jones, eh? The captain would like a word with ye..." With a laugh, he disappears as we enter the cursed ship.

80666-skeleton-figurehead-under-water.png

Upon entering the massive vessel, we find Davy Jones himself, his tentacled beard playing a mournful durge on the ship's organ. Hatefully, he whispers, "Jack Sparrow... I've finally found you." A nervous crewmate says, "Captain..." but is interrupted by his superior: "No one will have my treasure!"

1180-x-600-shanghai-guide-treasure-cove.jpg

"Captain!" the crewmate manages. "Speak!" says Davy Jones. "Jack Sparrow... has escaped with the treasure."

With a crash on the organ, Davy Jones turns to us, hate filling his eyes. "What?!? You bilge rats. You tell Jack Sparrow that he'll spend eternity in Davy Jones' Locker. Crew! Prepare for battle! Sound the alarms! All masts at full, all fleets to the surface!"

We escape from the vessel, entering the open sea, where dozens of sunken ships begin to rise dramatically to the surface. Joining them, we breach and feel the air once more. The Flying Dutchman breaches last, rising in impressive fashion and showering our vessel in salty water. Opposite the Dutchman, another ship sails, overflowing with treasure.

"Jack Sparrow!" shouts Davy Jones from his ship. "You coward!" "If you want your treasure so badly," replies Captain Jack, "come and take it!" Cannon fire whirs overhead as the two mighty ships make battle, our tiny boat sailing between them.

hq720.jpg

"Sparrow, you parasite!" curses Jones. "I'm coming for you!" He disappears in a cloud of smoke as we enter a hole in Captain Jack's ship's hull, the vessel being badly damaged from cannon fire. We encounter a sword fight between the two captains, when Davy Jones appears to have the upper hand. "It's over, Sparrow!" he yells. In seeming desperation, Jack jumps on the dinghy carrying the treasure, lights a cannon, and fires it past Davy Jones. "You missed," says Jones. "Wasn't aiming for you," replies Jack, as the ship fills with water, washing away Davy Jones and carrying the dinghy out of the ship and to safety. Triumphantly, Jack exclaims, "This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!"

28998240003_7359c45527_b.jpg

While the ship explodes, we take a backward plunge down and out of danger, managing to find ourselves back in the caves. Passing Captain Jack and the treasure, we hear him celebrating his victory. "Drink up, me hearties, yo ho! Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. I raise a toast to all of our many shipmates lost at sea. Salut, mes amis! Drink up lads! There's treasure enough for all. I shall take this paltry sum as a stipend to cover my expenses... and the chest of jewels. A toast to piracy, and its many shiny rewards. As a career, what could be more rewarding? I humbly accept this magnificent treasure as a reward for a life of villainy, larceny, skullduggery, and persnickety...ny."

pirates-387.jpg

As we climb up a waterfall on our way back to shore, we hear an ominous warning from our skull friend: "No fear have ye of evil curses, says you? Arrrgh... Properly warned ye be, says I. Who knows when that evil curse will strike the greedy beholders of this bewitched treasure? You've done too much. You've stolen the cursed treasure... Now proceed at your own risk. These be the last friendly words you'll hear. You may not survive to pass this way again... Dead men tell no tales."

Ride-through number two down. As you can tell, I mixed California's and Shanghai's Pirates rides for a best-of-both-worlds approach, with the nostalgia and "vibes" of Disneyland and the updated, "modern" feel of Shanghai. Hope you like it! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Disney's Hollywood Adventure
"The world you have entered, Disney's Hollywood Adventure, was created by the Walt Disney Company and is dedicated to Hollywood - not a place on a map, but a state of mind that exists wherever people dream and wonder and imagine; a place where illusion and reality are fused by technological magic. We welcome you to the Hollywood that never was... and always will be."

mgm+0b.jpg

"It was July, 1923. I packed all of my worldly goods - a pair of trousers, a checkered coat, a lot of drawing materials and the last of the fairy tale reels we had made - in a kind of frayed, cardboard suitcase. And with that wonderful audacity of youth, I went to Hollywood, arriving there with just forty dollars. It was a big day, the day I got on that Santa Fe California Limited. I was just free and happy!" -Walt Disney

Echo Lake
"Echo Lake is a Hollywood in flux - it is the 1950's, and the age of television has come to stay. Echoes of doo-wop, poodle skirts, and the feeling of a new, post-war age permeate the very essence of this lakeside paradise, while the rise of the small screen begins to assert its presence in American media."

Toontown
"A distinct lack of straight lines, nonsensical sight gags, and architecture harkening back to the Golden Age of Animation make up this zany Hollywood suburb. Populated by such toon superstars as Roger Rabbit, Donald Duck, and the Big Cheese himself, you never quite know what wacky antics are in store in Toontown."

🦸‍♀️
Marvel City
"The sensation of entering Marvel City is comparable to entering the reels of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - better yet, the panels of a vibrant comic book. Futurist architecture of New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Tokyo inspire this fantastical realm, where it seems likely that, at any given moment, Spider-Man or Captain America are bound to come running - or swinging - in to save the day."*

Mos Eisley Spaceport
"Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Marvel City

“The sensation of Entering Marvel City is comparable to entering the reels of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; better yet, the panels of a vibrant comic book. Futurist architecture of New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Tokyo inspire this fantastical realm, where it seems likely that, at any given moment, Spider-Man or Captain America are bound to come running - or swinging - in to save the day.”*

Good stuff, I've been re-doing Epcot in the Re-Do thread. I'm going to finish up the World Showcase and move onto the expansion at a much later date. I'm just taking my time with it though, I don't want to rush anything. Some of the attractions in the expansion are similar to what you have.

That seems really interesting, I’ll look out for updates. I saw your Muppets version of the American Adventure pavilion, it’s pretty cool and unique!
