Dram Maker Package

Can anyone tell me how you use wishes for the Dream Maker packages? At what point do you have to decide to use a wish? We got the silver package and are planning to use it mostly for meals. Someone also told me that we don't have to use it to pay for the kkids meals (as they are pretty cheap). our family just got a group of wishes and could use them how we saw fit...For example at a restaurant tell them that we are only using two wishes for my dinner and my husband's...Just want to be prepared! :hammer:

You are right about the kids' meals--they are less than $10, and you don't want to "waste" a wish on them.

As I recall, you are correct, you tell the server that you are using wishes for your meals. I would do this when you order, just so everyone is on the same page from the get-go.

Meega, nala kwishta!
You can do it before or after, it never made any difference to them when we used our wishes last year.

I have read that is would be better before though because since tip is included on the wish, they will try to make sure you use the wish to it's fullest extent. Higher bill, bigger tip for them, and you still don't pay. :D

I don't know if that's true or not. Maybe someone who works in a Disney restaurant will speak up?

Your wishes are added to your room key. Tell the server beforehand that you are using wishes. If you do not want to use the wishes for your kids, tell them that you will be paying for the kids meals. We did this on one of our trips and used the extra wishes for merchandise. It's totally up to you. Please remember that some restaurants like the Yachtsman require 2 wishes for a meal now.
