Dragon's Lair (WIP)

Keep in mind, this is a VERY rough quick sketch of the tower itself.

Peopel load through the black areas into the cars (red) and people get otu of the vehicle, go aroudn the circle, and out the exit. This is jsut the very first floor. The vehicles then raise up into the main theater, just like Back to the Future at USF.

I really love this, Im assuming this is for AK/beastly kingdom thang. I'll do some drawings, cos I really need to. BTW is the theming jungly still or shall I go english countrysidey (so much easier for me cos i see it daily)

It's a medieval European castle. The castle will be liek a dark grey and stuff. I'm gonna scan in a very rough sketch of the outside. Also, anyone can draw up some concept art.

To answer your question, yes. Yes it's for Animal Kingdom, and yes it is pretty much Beastly Kingdom. But, this project would be attractive from the WDC execs because of cost. Think about it.

Beastly Kigndom would be an entirely new land would lots of theming, most likely costing in excess of $200. Dragon's Lair, however, is only one ride that is a land in and of itself, most likely not costing more than $150 million. Also, this area could be later expanded into a huge newly themed land with multiple rides.

The concept sounds totally awesome.
I've got some ideas about the que and it's going to seem very similur to PoTC's que, but minus the Pirates of course. :lol:

I've never heard of "Doctor Doom's Fear Fall" so what park is that in?

it's at a diferent park/resort.

what I draft up on the que. Basicly see the single
line having a maze but no matter which line you get in
the maze won't and can't be to difficult to follow.

It doesn't exactly have to feel like you don't know where your going. Just windy, and walls between the "winds" so you don't see a big room. It'll only be a large are in the front, where there'll be a little atrium type thing, about 2 stories high with stained glass ceiling.

I've got a couple doodles that look like dragons. One looks like the one from Pete's Dragon. :lol: Both don't look scary, not at all. I'm having trouble imagining damaged armor. Still have to put some finishing touches on them
before I'll let anyone else see them.
Can the walls have murals on them?

Yea, I suppose they can have murals. And for the armor, I was thinking like half of a suit of armor, but half of it is like a cooled (not liquid anymore) puddle of metal.

Alrighty then, I have yet another update. I must be on a rol. I now have a better load/unload plan for the Left (South) Tower. If need be, I may eventully make a load/unload plan for all of the towers an connect them to one giant plan. any updates on any of your rides especially Dragon's Lair it sounds awesome. I was also on your site looking at the James Bond ride any updates on that.

First off, thanks a lot. Second, no there aren't any updates on either of them. I've been busy with other personal projects at the moment. Once I clear up some space, I'll get right to work. Don't worry, though. I'm not just gonna leave them in this state forever. I'll work on them soon.
