Dr. Seeker/Dinosaur

I was watching a VH1 show some months ago that was on one hit wonders.

Right as I walked in the room they were showing the guy who plays Dr. Seeker. He was commenting on a band, but I got the impression that he too had been in a one hit wonder.

My question to you is, who is the actor/musician that plays Seeker?
AND
If he was in a band, you could save me time by telling me which one.

The guy's name is Wallace Langham but he is also know as Wally Ward

I know that he played the flamboyant secretary on that old show veronica's closet...USA reruns....they're like a car wreck, sometimes its the most terrible thing, but you just cant turn and look at something else
