is there a fee for parking at downtown disney we are staying on property but want to be able to go around with out waiting fo the bus

Nope. But there is optional valet parking.

Take the car right over to DD. There is no fee for parking. It took me an hour to get there by bus once. Sometimes it is faster to just drive yourself.

I've never seen all the parking lots full. Now I have had to hoof it for a bit because I was parked a mile away, but I always found a parking spot.
