Downtown Disney questions...

I cant seem to find much info on the Disney site itself about Downtown Disney...

First, wondering how you even get there? Is it like you are going to a regular park and there are signs to get in or what?

Second, what are the hours? We are looking to go to Disney Quest in the day and Pleasure Island at night but have no idea when things open.

Third, if you go to Downtown Disney for a day and use one of your plus days does that count for the entire thing or just one section? I.E. going to Disney Quest and Pleasure Island the same day with only using one plus day

I'm not sure about the hours.
There are signs for it. It looks more like a shopping center than a park.

The third question is it counts for two--1 for Disney Q@uest and 1 for PI

we were there the last week of april and found the hours to be 11-11 during the week and 11-12 on the weekend for the stores. i believe is open until 2am every night.
if you go to pi, go to the adventurers club. we went for the first time this past trip and are now huge fans!!!!

Heya man!!

Yeah, there is no charge to get into Downtown Disney, like the dude above says, it's not a park, just a big shopping area. It does cost money to get into the pleasure Island part (but only at night, you can visit any shops/restaurants there during the day) and DisneyQuest costs money too, but I've never been.

You can use Disney transportation to access Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. Any bus marked "Downtown Disney" will get you there.

Operating hours vary from some of the different stores, and depend upon the season.

Try looking for more info on the Walt Disney World site. It should have most of the information you need!

Umm... Yeah, you MUST go to the adventurers club, for at least 2 hours, see some of the shows! Just mull around and have fun.... this is worth the price of admission alone!!! And remember KUNGALOOSH!!!!!

I'm a little off the subject again, but do you have to pay for all the Clubs at PI or can you just pay to go to one? How much would it cost for one club. I'd like to do Adventurer's but nothing else.

you can pay for a single club admission, but if you want to also visit one other place, such as the comedy club, then the cost basis for a multi club pass is far better than a single club. Those single club tickets I believe can only be purchased at PI itself and not in advance.

the marketplace side where all the disney themed shops are is open from 10 am - 11pm.

the westside such as pleasure island and all is open from 11am - 1 or 2 am.

the last DTD bus leaves westside at 1 or 2 am.

there are signs of how to get to DTD these appear at all the gateways into WDW. there are also signs for DTD on signs for epcot -but if you get stuck and dont know which direction to take just go to any disney resort and the guards will point you in the right direction.

what i do know is that if you go to disney quest then you are using up a day on your ticket however this applies to UK bought tickets i dont know about the US ones.
