How late are the stores & restaurants in Downtown Disney open?
Can you use disney gift cards at any of the restaurants in Downtown Disney?

I know the shops are open late but i cant remember the exact time but when i was there in january it was around 11p

Downtown Disney Marketplace is open until 11 p.m. (11:30 on Fridays/Saturdays in the summer)
West Side stores are open until 11 p.m. (midnight on Fridays/Saturdays in the summer)
Pleasure Island clubs are open until 2 a.m.
Restaurants may be different, depending on their individual operating hours.
I believe you can use Disney gift cards just about anywhere in DTD (I know they work just about anywhere in the Marketplace), but with some individual stores you may need to check...I'm not sure if places like Raglan Road, AMC Theaters, etc. will take them or not.

That would be for the WDW DTD...
For the Anaheim DTD, the hours vary by location. I would say (depending on the day of the week), it closes anywhere from 11 pm to 1 am.

I wouldn't expect to be able to use it at stores that aren't owned by Disney (like Basin, Build-A-Bear, AMC theaters, etc). I would carry cash or some other method of payment for those locations, just to be on the safe side. The same goes for non-disney-owned restruants located in Downtown Disney.

Are any of the restaurants in DTD Disney owned? The only one that I know for sure isn't Disney owned is Rain Forest Cafe.

I dont think Disney owns any of the restaurants in DTD
Catal, Naples, Tortilla Jo's are owned by The Patina Group
and the rest are owned by the other companies; not sure how ESPN Zone works though.
But a very short walk to any of the 3 DLR hotels offers great food too with restaurants owned by Disney, Napa Rose seems to be the most popular as is Storytellers Cafe.
