The long wait is almost over .Months went toweeks to days and now hours....Friday-AKL here we come..Anybody please....what are the crowds like...i don`t need to know about the weather because i live 3 hours south

You will see crowds, of course. But nothing out of control, that's for sure. Expect to wait in lines. Have a great time at AKL...I am so jealous!
