only if Disney recruits you from where you live (ie. College Program, etc)... several apartment complexes offer 3 month leases.

I don't think moving to Florida or California to work for 3 months is going to be worth it. It's going to be tough to find housing because you are a minor.

I'm pretty sure you have restrictions on hours worked because you are a minor also.

I'm not sure he's dyslexic....maybe just not the best typist! ;) The same thing happens to me all the time....I reverse letters...because I'm actually "spelling" the word (in my mind) and looking at the keys....rather than reading it as I type. Therefore, I sometimes get ahead of myself. However, knowing this, I also usually proofread before hitting submit. ;)

Back to the question. I don't think that you can rent an apartment if you are under 18....a lease is a contract, and minors aren't legally allowed to enter into one. If you could get a parent to arrange it, and be responsible for payment, damages, etc., you might be able to use an apartment type hotel...although the expense would eat up your wages, and then some.

Most summer/weekend only HS/College workers have family living in the area.

I'm just curious. Are your folks OK with this plan? I wouldn't allow it.

I know you are excited and want to work for Disney...but you have to have some patience. Give it some time. Graduate high school and go to college for at least a year then try to get on the wdw college program. WDW is not like Cedar Point where they rely on all summer help.

I had that dream for 2 years but knew it would remain 'just a dream'. Now I am 18 and am headed off to college. This year (October) I am applying for the WDWCP and I am considering an audition to be an entertainer (face character). Just wait 1 year and do the WDWCP. It will be more fun and you will meet many more eligible ladies at vista way!!! (vista way is one of the two places where CP workers live)
