Good Morning Everyone..Welcome to " Blame it on someone else day " ...Love this crazy holiday but has it happened to you when planning your WDW trip..In 2010,our 4th trip to the world,we opted to purchase our park hopper tickets with our travel agent package holiday ( we normally booked our tickets thro a different agent )..However when we booked into our beloved PORS we found out that our park hopper tickets were not locked into our KTWC ....After help from the CM we were given 3 one day complimentary tickets so we could visit MK that first night..Next morning ( 6.30am ) I was down at the concierge and was told our travel company ( First Choice from UK ) had not released the money paid for the tickets to Walt Disney Company:eek::eek:...Now I was fuming. So I waited until 9.00am for our meeting with the First Choice rep,and at 9.05am here she came, smiling like a Cheshire Cat,until she saw my Mr Grumpy face..To say I went down her throat,is an understatement..But to give her credit, she had the issue settled in a matter of moments.New cards were given out to us and it being July 4th that day,we were given little old glory flags by the CM...So have you had a " blame someone else day " when a trip plan goes whoops up..:jawdrop:

Knock on wood our trips have always gone like clockwork. The only issues we have ever had are weather; one morning I had to shovel 5" of snow the morning we were leaving. The other was the US president, he was leaving Boston so all flights into the city were delayed until he took off, so basically circling for an hour.

We booked our first trip through AAA. We arrived in the Orlando airport and were heading to the Magical Express counter when we looked to the right and saw... our luggage. Just sitting there in a random pile on the floor. Yet another oversight by AAA, "By the way, you need to let them know to be watching for your luggage."

When we got upgraded for free to the beach club from movies our passes didn't transfer and I was about to blame our travel agent but the cm's looked at our travel documents and all was correct there the cm just hadn't coded the cards. All the check in was finally done at the beach club and the cm asked us if we wanted tickets an I was like I have tickets and that's when they had a long examination of our documents. I'm glad they noticed it before we got to the turnstile, then the stuff really would have hit the fan!

Gosh- our trips always seems to have a few issues here and there. The one that still bugs me is our Rose & Crown Illuminations timed meal back in 2010. The restaurant was dead even though ADRs were few and far between - even at 6am on day 180. We sat inside b/c it was chilly, but the plan was to head out for Illuminations. We told our server numerous times about going out to the viewing area- even once after the torches were lit. She promised to get us out there, but she failed to do that and was getting us dessert as that first big boom went off. We took it upon ourselves to get outside on the R&C deck to watch (pretty dead out there too) and she flipped out. She cleared our desserts even though some of us were not done and she hunted down DH over the check. Correct me if I'm wrong, but R&C and Illuminations viewing is a pretty commonplace thing. So I blame her for not getting it and killing my plans.

The only Snafu we have ever had is when we upgraded our resort at the last minute and all of our ADR's were cancelled. We of course did not know this until we checked into the Poly and wanted to confirm the time of our dinner. A long confused look from the CM worried me. A few clicks later she saw where everything was cancelled. She took my cell phone number, told us to go to the MK as planned and she would call us within two hours. 90 minutes later she called and told me she had gotten all of reservations restored to within 20 minutes of our original times.
