Hello all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I couldn't figure out where else to put it.

I am taking my family to Dollywood in June. I do have a pretty good understanding on the tricks of saving time and money in WDW but no idea about Dollywood.

Can anyone help me with some tips? Is there a way to save some money with the admission? How about food in the park, are there any tricks to saving money there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For saving money on park admission, they have a AAA discount. Also, there are welcome centers in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg. Stop at those and look for discount coupons. Sometimes they're available. As for food in the parks, it's not as expensive as it is at WDW. And the variety will be different too. Sometimes Coke will run a special on their can drinks for discounts too. You might try stopping at a convenience store and seeing if coke has one currently. I hope some of this helps.

As for saving time? Just enjoy the park. Go to the shows you want to see and do the rides in the area while there.
We used to go to DW every summer because our kids had more fun there than at Disney. Of course added enjoyment it is near their cousins so they always had a great time playing in the overhead playgorund as well as riding all the rides.
