Dole Whips...

...are AWESOME!!!!!

(just trying to balance out my criticism of Butterbeer over in the Universal thread).

(P.S. My brother just said that it's called "Butterbeer" because it tastes like butt.)

Glad I listened to you guys about Dole Whips. One of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. :)

Just in case you're tempted, I think I can say without contradiction that no one wants to know how he knows that! :):D:eek:

My boys didn't like it. To me, it's a refreshing dessert. I couldn't eat it all ( brain freeze). But, I liked it, not loved it.;)
They lie, lol.

They lie about the dole whip. They lie about that soup at Le Cellier and they lied about the zebra domes at AKL.

And they give no credit to the highly awesome chocolate mousse brownie at the American pavilion.

We discovered them years ago before they really took off (they had Dole Whip t-shirts in the Emporium!), and became a "must do" with every visit. I had 4-5 of them during my last visit. Though other posters are correct, it was nicer when they were more of a hipster dessert and I didn't have to queue up behind ropes to order one...

Add me into the I Love Dole Whip group. Can't cross over the bridge and continue through Adventureland without stopping for one. Best one was on our last trip when my son said... "How about a Dole Whip, I'll buy." NEVER expected to hear that one!!

I love me my precious Dole Whip Floats. I didn't expect to like frozen butterbeer when I finally tried it in December, but to my surprise, I really liked it. Not loved it as much as a Dole Whip Float, but liked it. Enough to have another if I had the great and unlikely fortune of being back in Orlando any time in the next two years. Sigh.
