forgive me, what is a dole whip??? is it just soft serve ice cream mixed with dole fruit juice? or is it more complicated than that? im afraid when we go in august, they will melt away before we even get a chance to consume them...:veryconfu

I just got three (two soft serves and one float) last week. All three were covered by my snack credits on the Dining Plan. I had the float....it was AWESOME!

Covered snacks are the items specifically listed in the brochure and anything else that has the DDP logo on the menu board.

The $4.00 is a policy that Disney owned places tend to follow but it's not a rule and non-Disney owned establishments, such as the bakery in France, don't follow it at all. Disney doesn't have to raise the price over $4, the could just remove the DDP logo from the menu board and the item would no longer be covered. I think the $4 policy may have been instituted to make it easier for CMs to know which snacks should be allowed.
