CoP can not be relocated to Tokyo Disneyland's MK , cause they already have an attraction like CoP called "Meet the World".

"Meet the World" is a revolving carrousel through time and relives Japan's fascinating encounters with other cultures. This attraction is also located in Tomorrowland.

The best thing to do to CoP is to update the attraction."A Bug's Life Adventure Zone " is more suitable for AK where Camp Minnie/Mickey is located.

Oh no, Lance is right. This is not actually a Bug's Life ride going into Tomorrowland. Disney isn't crazy enough to do that, I hope. This is a ride much like the bumper cars from Flik's Fun Fair going into DCA. This one, however would be themed to outer space, and you would ride in your own flying saucer. The concept art for it looked pretty cool. It is an indoor ride, so don't worry, it won't ruin the atmosphere of Tomorrowland.

I would rather have CoP. Notice that there isn't too much stuff in tomorrowland that is based on a foreseeable (sp?) future. It is all modeled after the future of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.

Have you ever watched the WDW Tour in your resort hotel? Notice that when they show you tomorrowland it Says "The future that never was." But Space Travel has already happened. And I feel that CoP fits great, because it shows all these people saying things will never happen, but we all they do. It also shows what might be in store for the future, but we don't know if it ever will. For example, when was the last time you talked to your oven?

Everyone says "Toyko or Paris" don't forget, we have a new park in 05 Hong Kong to think about as well.

Every time Disney has opened an international park, something has moved into it from one of the old ones.

(well, I'm not sure about tokyo, but anway)

ELP went to Disneyland Paris when it opened and we got Spectro

ToykoSea opened and all the props from the undersea area of horizions went there

CA opened and it took the ELP Back

So maybe CoP will go to Hong Kong

ok..first off...

Everyone is so "concerned" that they may put a bugs life themed ride in tommorowland..they are TOTALLY overlooking the "new" movie comeing out soon. Lilo and Stich..little alien..space ship..etc....think about it...

Second..I dont think they are going to move CoP into a NEW park. especially overseas. It would be too risky, and CoP would NOT fit (theme/story wise) in another country. Im sure you all noticed that CoP is very "american" based...and would most likley seem very confusing to someone from a different culture.

Everyone seems to think id be MAD if it stayed open..

The truth is i could care less either way...I dont LIKE the ride..so i wouldnt be mad to see it go..which is why i dont sign petitions to see it "Saved" and dont care too much about what its status is...

I think Now was right (i think it was him) when he said Disney knows the history of the COP. Screamscape says that this new flying saucer ride would be going into Timekeeper, not COP, so for the time being, we don't have much to worry about.

I see CoP returning to Disneyland for the 50th anniversery.....lets remember Space Mountain will be upgraded, and rumor has it that some of Tomorrowland will too.....the Rocketrods station and track has no use right now.....i think we'll see CoP at Disneyland in 2005.

I doubt this will happen since they turned the theater in to something else (not sure what though, but I know it was used). I also don't think that the AA may survive the move.
