Ever since I first joined its apparent to me that most members here are not dead serious Disney fans. Sure they are here and have plenty of comments but not a majority of it is serious discussion. Basically IMHO WDWMagic is just another fan site with a younger age group for members.

For news there is little to look for here. For gathering support there isn't much here either. Not as much as I have seen elsewhere, and frankly from experiance there seems to be more of a pro-Eisner support here and even at Disboards.com.

If I were Roy I couldn't see much here with the lukewarm overall feeling it has.

OTOH if Miceage had a discusion board......
Personally I don`t see where you think that the people on this site are pro Eisner! Have you seen the threads about Roy? I would say 90% of the people on this site are on Roys side, including myself and for your assumption that the people on this site are kids, yes there are some kids, but there are people of ALL ages. I, for one, am 36. Sir if you don`t like this site why are you even posting on it? I post on several Disney sites and wdwmagic is my favorite.

I think the main reason WDW magic isn't on the list is simply because there are no updates regarding these events! It's as simple as that! :animwink:

And to Mr D: I am a die hard Disney fan (not just theme parks) and I kow for a fact that there are many on the boards in the same boat as I am! And IMO this is the best Disney site I have seen in my life! If you hate the place that much no one is forcing you to stay!

I appologize in advance if I miss understood you!

By the way...

www.savedisney.com has been updated, with a promise to respond to all the fans in the coming weeks!

Tsk, tsk...WDWMagic.com has got the most Disney employees on board than any board on the net.

People, people, WDWMagic is not a nitpick every detail of the company site.

Things like MiceAge & Jim Hill Media focus there attention on all the behind the scenes stuff. Steve doesn't post boardroom politics and why certain rides are make because of such and such a reason. This is an information site, not an article driven columnist site.

So yeah those sites are going to get mentioned because that is what they do. WDWMagic is focused on 1 thing, WDW, not the Disney company, not ABC, not ESPN, not DCA or Tokyo. The scope is more narrow and focused, hence it has no business being listed on SaveDisney as it does not further their cause.

I think Grizzlyhall will take exception to your comment above. Being one of the few people who communicate on this site, that supports Disney taking it slow when it comes to getting rid of Eisner, I am in a big minority. Grizzly and others have orchestrated an enormous effort to support Roy and the response has been large.

I believe Steve is trying to keep this site objective and let people make up their own minds and provide a forum for different thoughts. If that is true, then I commend him and thank him for respecting us in that way. Go Steve!! :sohappy:

By the way, I am 47 and appreciate the varied ages found in WDWMagic.com.

By the way, when SaveDisney.com first popped up, it had WDWMagic.com on the list. I remember seeing it.

I never saw it on the site and I have been checking it every day since day one. I think the real reason why WDWMagic.com is not listed is because of its overall low page rank on the Internet. Most of the other Disney related sites are much bigger than this site, have more members, have more threads, have more posts and get far more "hits".

Please don't take this the wrong way. I am not putting this site down. I like this site because it is much smaller than the other Disney sites and is therefore more intimate and I like that aspect. WDWmagic.com just does not get the heavy traffic associated with the other Disney sites.

I don't want to argue, but I remember when the SaveDisney site first came on line, it was one page. The list of other sites was not on a separate page and the list was longer than the one thatnow appears. I remember seeing WDWMagic.com on that list. But, I could be .......
