Does Disney force high-profile guests/celebrities to use guides when they come to the parks?

But I don't think Disney can FORCE that. If some random guy named Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. wanted to create a My Disney Experience account and book a package without telling Disney he was anyone special, I'm sure he could.

Right. I don't think it's ever technically forced. But the biggest names are usually going to want it. It's not really possible for them to have a normal day out, so why not go for instant ride access?

Most celebs are not at that level and won't be mobbed even if they are recognized by some random person. Obviously all the Disney parks see a decent amount of celeb traffic, but I know Disneyland in particular gets a ton of Hollywood folks just trying to hang out and spend a normal day at Disney.

No, Disney doesn't "force" anything on high-profile guests. How would they even know if an A-list celebrity or their assistant purchased tickets? The main reason most celebrities use a guide is to avoid lines which is where someone is most likely to be recognized and eventually pestered. No one wants to be interviewed by fans while in a 2 hour line.

Chris Hemsworth was at Disneyland a few weeks back without a guide. When someone throws on large sunglasses, a hat and doesn't walk with around with an entourage they blend right into the crowds.

I have seen Celebs throughout the years and I never bothered with them, frankly I have no interest in them, however I did come across Hulk Hogan at Uni about 15ys ago, he was stopped talking to a few people about football. I did go up to him as if I was listening, just to see how much bigger he is than me. My point is, he seemed to be fine yapping with people and did not look bugged at all and he had no escort (only wife w/kid in stroller).

Yeah -- he just moves to a new city...
I sat behind him on a flight from Rome to Miami. He played candy crush the whole time and had headphones in. He ignored anyone who kind of approached him although thats a strange place to approach anyone. He never got up to use the bathroom 😬

I have a famous relative, and they think it's stupid to do the VIP thing because they think it attracts attention to them. Theyve been approached in queues and stuff but generally not enough to be so bothered that they had to get the guide. Since it's such a fast moving day and most people are in sunglasses and hats its easy to conceal their appearance.

Odd. With his kind of money... and his agents kind of money I don’t see why he wouldn’t fly charter all the time.
