Does CBR have a fun slide?

From what I have seen the CBR water slide doesn't look to exciting. How does it compare to the rest of the resort water slides?

I didn't go down the slide but they did have a pretty cool setup at CBR. It was like an old fort, and the kids could get up there and shoot water cannons at the swimmers.

Just called Disney re: CBR closing. Here's what I found:
I called just a few minutes ago and asked about Disney's plans for the guests who already have existing reservations.

I spoke to a wonderfully honest CM who told me that OPR is going to undergo a MAJOR renovation that will include the addition of a table-service restaurant with an huge open-air kitchen (sorta like O'hana). She said that she heard that the construction will probably be done right on target (beginning of December or so). She also said that the work was being done with the holiday guests in mind (so that they didn't have to move the Christmas travelers to other resorts).

I asked why they would close the entire resort when only the food court was being affected. She said that it's a safety issue....they don't want lots of people around the OPR area during such a huge construction project. I can certainly understand that.

side note for anyone affected:
Have you looked into the specials running for that time-frame? There are great rates for Animal Kingdom Lodge available. $119 per night for a standard room. It has to be booked by September 23rd.

So what did you say they are going to do with people who have reservations? I do, but I would be happy if they want to move me to the Beach Club or AKL.:D

Oh, well Coronado Springs may be nice. I know my bud Freak loves it. Any one else have much to say about CS? Do they have any similarities to CBR? Water Mice?
