I just got done reading the 3rd book last night! Originally got them for my daughter, but I ended up liking them too!
I'm glad that you guys enjoy them. 
To me they are the best fiction books about my most favorite place Walt Disney World. Unfortunately most people I talk to either hate them or don't have a clue on what I'm talking about.

I love those books! But sometimes, I don't like how they make WDW so eerie.

Haven't read a single one. However my daughter has read the first five and just recieved the 6th one on Friday. Best thing was last summer when we just happened to be at downtown disney the day Ridley Pearson was there signing book 5. We stood in line a couple of hours to have him sign the book, have a short conversation and take pics with us. Best impromptu day at Disney yet.

I read it to my 2nd graders. They love to listen to it and try to 'predict' what's next.

It's a set of children's books. They aren't the worst children's books ever written, but they aren't the best, either. They're good enough for kids who are disney fans, IMO.

I think it's so good for teachers to read to students. My third grade teacher read us "A Wrinkle in Time" and I just loved listening to it.

i really enjoyed the one's i have read.i always thought it would make a great movie series.also surprised it has not been mentioned as a possible movie, at least not that i have heard of.

Ughhhh, I hate those books! Granted, I'm an adult so I know they were not written for me, but they are very poorly written. I thought they would be more about the parks and really showcasing the disney villians but instead they spend most of their books discussing how the "cross over" into the parks while they are sleeping. Very boring, predictable, and very poor character development. A huge wasted opportunity, IMHO. I read the first four/five up to the one on the disney cruise (Shell Game?) because I kept hoping they would get better but they never did....

Best assembly at my kids school was when Ridley Pearson came. I told him about a trip through IASW after my son and I had read the first book. I noticed all the dolls from Italy were missing. So we were just looking over the sides of the boat asking each other if we see them yet. I think the other people in our boat must have thought we were nuts, but we had fun!
