If my memory doesn't fail me, When Turner Broadcast merged with Time Warner aka WB they got Six Flags, after some time WB sold it's mayority of shares and became a minority investor, allowing the use of some DC comics characters and Looney Toons characters in the "Brand". And just like the MGM at the Disney Studios Six Flags had just a period to use the "Brands" that is like 20 years or so

As for Twister at Universal that was a joint venture production of the movie with WB. Both have the right to it but Cinematic distribution was handeled in the States by WB and Universal on the rest and vice versaon video and television.

Is like Star Wars saga, the movie is own by Lucasfilms and Distributed by 20th Century Fox.

Harry Potter? Lord of the rings? Does anyone with more than a 'high up, top-secret, uber-important, hush-hush, Disney Imagineer, friend of the family' know what the story is with these series and their relationship with either Disney or Universal. Yes, I've read the board and yes I've searched the Internet. Warner Bros. owns Potter and also has some association with Six Flags though I can't find out what their relationship is exactly. Whether they own or just have a substantial investment in the company is beyond me. Regardless I don't see why there is so much Potter speculation and 'news' without Disney even owning the rights to the brand. Also, there were reports over @ Jim Hill Media bout LOTR coming to AK which doesn't seem to fit at all. Well, I am done ranting. Let the speculation on my speculation begin.

Lets all calm down,yes I hate potter and rings and I dont think they belong in Disney parks much like indy and twilite zone both could have been changed to fit Disney stories or make up there own like the haunted mansion or pirates.My personal opinion dont let it ruen your day.
