Does anyone know why there is no fireworks at magic kingdom july 17-23, 2016

Look at the disney calendar and it does not show fireworks and parade for that week. The week before and after have them. I even did the online chat with disney and it was not helpful

No fireworks or parade makes me think they will be working on something they both use like the sound system.

Maybe that is when they planned the hurricane to hit, you have to schedule these things 180 out you know.........

It's strange cause they have taken them off the travel agent site as well. Hopefully it's just a glitch in the system. I would keep watching the site for updates.

maybe they are closing the park during that time... ya know... to save money and all elsewhere *sigh*

my hope would be it's a glitch because that would be kinda crazy to not run those during the summer crowds

They still have Festival of Fantasy listed, so sound system work doesn't quite make sense (unless FoF uses a different one?). MSEP and Wishes also aren't listed on the Hub either, so its either a system wide glitch or an intentional omission. Hmmm

So what is happening at night possibly?

No idea. Park hours are still 9:00am-10:00pm each night, so I'm truly baffled. I'm still inclined to believe its just a large error. Unless they're going to throw in a 'limited time magic' showing of Magic Music and Mayhem that week hahaha

Only 10:00pm for the middle of summer? That seems like it is closing early every night.

I'd rather a limited run of "Summer Nightastic!" where it looked like the castle was literally exploding and on fire from the pirate section of the fireworks. I never got to see that one in person and have wanted it to come back forever!

PS: I just realized through some Googling that the fireworks show was actually called Magic, Music, and Mayhem. So, yeah, I agree...bring it back!

I'm still so upset I just missed that show when I went. My trip was literally one week after it ended. I have always wanted to see the perimeters in person and have still yet to.

Everything seems fine now. The only thing I see missing on these days is Celebrate the Magic.

Disneyworld.com calendar shows Wishes and the Electrical parade scheduled for those dates. My trip is that week too I was sad when I didn't see it on the schedule at first.

Today is February 27th. Give it a few days.
