Sounds to me like it might have come from Spaceship Earth

The scene where they say "Age's later, the Egyptians invented the first written communication-a complex language of hieroglyphic pictures and symbols. With the creation of papyrus scrolls, came the world's first piece of paper. Now, wothout ever leaving their palaces, pharaohs could deliver proclamations and decrees to subjects across the land."

Between

It'd be one thing if you said "I have a picture of Anubis as a caryatid as part of maybe an entry way or temple door, there's two of them" or even "It's a lotiform or papyriform column in the background" I could be of assstance.

But you're not even differentiating between the monotheistic reign of Akenaten (which artisticly is very important) or the pre and post polytheoist rules.

We just carry geekness to a whole new level here.

If it is not in SSE, how about those statue things back in the courtyard in Italy. There is that old coliseum looking thing with some statues of men standing by some pillars I believe. Maybe this is what you thought were Egyptians.

I knew you Disney Brainiacs (?) would crack the case! :sohappy: You are absolutely right it has to be Spaceship Earth. Although the Great Movie Ride was sounding familiar too, but I know we only did one park per day so unless the date on my old camera is off I knew it couldn't be that. Thanks for all who cared enough to geuss as well as the humorous posts (I've always wanted to go to Egypt). Sorry about not being able to post a pix, but I am working on that as we speak. I just need to get the negatives to a disc to begin the process. Again Thanks All!
