Does anyone know when the new planning DVDs are out?

I love those trip planning DVDs and often use them to get my "Disney fix". They're also useful for convincing the wife to let me go on a trip. So... when is the next one coming out. The last one I got was pieced together mostly from the old one- with just a touch of Everest and that annoying guy playing with action figures.

I need to satisfy my craving and going to Disneyland didn't give me my Epcot satisfaction!

I ordered one about 3 weeks ago, and haven't gotten it yet. I will post once it is received if its the new one or the old one. If it is the old one I will give it to whoever wants it for skeet shooting, because I don't think I could handle watching Dave and Luke one more time.

I think they'd release new DVD's towards the end of the year. I hope they completely can those four bozos hosting now. Wouldn't it be nice if they sorta let the characters host the thing (And let Figment handle Epcot...)?

i use those DVDs to get my disney fix too! i would assume they will release new ones soon to go along with the "Year of a Million Wishes" celebration.

Another cool way to get that Disney fix is the new Tivo option of sending travel promos to your Tivo, you can check Disney and get their promos. Most I've seen so far are the ones they loop on tv in the resorts. It gets you wanting to go back. I think they are wearing my wife down.:animwink:

Anyway, my favorite Planning video is the ones from the 80's that I have. Nothing will ever top them! The new ones are lacking in many areas.

The current one is extremely similar, but with touch-ups (i.e. actual shots of a completed Everest).

However, if you've ordered one expecting it to be even somewhat different from last years, I'm afraid you've gotten your hopes up.
