Do you think this could be done at Stormalong Bay at the BC?

OK, first of all, I'm not looking for opinions on whether or not this is ethical, or what I'm teaching my children, etc. So if you have those opinions, keep them to yourself, I don't want this to be a flame war.

My wife, kids, and I are staying at the BC next week. My parents are coming too, but because I'm paying for their trip, they refused to stay at a deluxe resort but are still staying on property. Here's my dilemma -- one evening my wife and I are dining at California Grill. I've inquired at the BC if there's a day pass so my parents could take my kids to the pool area even though they're not staying there. I was answered with an emphatic "No." which I understand. If when I check in, I request a Key to the world card, do you think I could give my parents it for that evening so they could take the kids to Stormalong bay? The other option is that I have two Magic Bands and could give them one. Anyone think this would work or know it would or wouldn't?

I don't know enough about the MBs to know if you asked for 2 KttW cards at check-in for door-opening would it disable your MBs. If not, I would ask for 2 KttW cards as room keys. Never hurts to have a backup, right? When you go to dinner give your parents your bracelets or the keys. They'll each need their own identifying thing to get entry. You can't have a key/band & walk a person without one in with you.

You could probably get away with the key to the kingdom card. As of two weeks ago they were still giving you that along with the MB. Which means you could also double-dip on FP if you chose to go that route. I mean you're already breaking one rule, might as well go all out.

In all seriousness, this should be OK. You and your wife are going to eat which frees up two spots at the pool - they are filled by your parents. I don't see the harm in this.

How would they know your parents aren't you and your wife? They don't know you. And anyway, the kids are guests of the BC and need adult supervision. I think they would be awful strict to not allow the kids in to the pool in this situation. It's a little unusual but why not?

I hope it works, I see no integrity issues at all. As posted your kids are guest and need supervision. IMO anybody trying to say you are doing something wrong by trying needs to get a life :)
