Do you think Oswald will ever be in the parks?

After reading about Disney's plans for Oswald and posting what info I have about it here:

http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?p=4302136#post4302136

I got to wondering...will Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt's first brainchild, ever appear in any of the parks? As a walk-around character, an AA, or featured in any of the rides?

Man, that's kind of staggering to think about...that long-lost Oswald might actually appear in public again, next to Mickey...wow, that's kinda heavy...:drevil:

I'm of the mind that Disney acquires nothing without a reason. ;)

I know that in the upcoming Buena Vista Street at DCA, one of the shops will be named after Oswald. And we already know he'll be featured prominently in Epic Mickey. I think that things that appear in the parks just have a longer development process (eg how long after Kim Possible ended before the attraction appeared in the park, how long after Finding Nemo came out before the subs/Living Seas reopened, etc), so it will just be a matter of time before Oswald makes his grand debut.

I also think I remember, right after the Oswald re-acquisition, that Iger said something to the effect of that Oswald comes back, he'll come back with a major splash.

Personally I'd like to see an Oswald walk-around character in DHS and DCA (or even MK), tons of merchandise, maybe even an attraction in Toontown or DHS.

I think he'd be a perfect fit at DHS...right there in the Animation Courtyard... I can't see him being enough of a draw to have his own attraction, though, so I think the most we'd see, at least in the beginning, is as a M&G Character.

How about use the Goofy's Wiseacre Farm coaster, change it to Oswald's Flying Jets in the fantasyland expansion?

Maybe a re-made Mickey Mouse Revue with updated characters and including Oswald and Mickey doing an orchestra contest?...:lookaroun

In the 21st century where everything is based on what happened 5 minutes ago, it would seem a long shot that Oswald the lucky rabbit would ever have much of a presence at Walt Disney World.

He doesn't sell merchandise.

Very few people know who he is.

His stories are rural and politically incorrect.

Wait, are we talking about Oswald or Mister Toad? :lookaroun
