I just hope they get rid of the terrible grid lines on the bottom of the screen and update to at least 8k projection so it's not so blurry. Will be sad to see current vid go though.
IF they do replace it, I'll never be able to ride it without thinking of the original musical score, its that ingrained in my mind. It would be like going through Splash and have Zip a Dee Doo Dah taken out...its so much a part of the ride. I would feel like somethings missing and it wouldnt feel right.
There are two conflicting sides for me on this. I love that song. It's so great to just listen to. But on the other hand, we don't' know if it will "fit" the new movie. I think music plays such an important part in a ride that I guess I'd be willing to give it up if it meant a better ride experience.
I really love the Soarin' soundtrack and hope they keep it, but I feel like it'll probably have all new music. More than anything, I just hope Patrick Warburton is still the star of the pre-show video!
