To be honest, I prefer lands over pavilions. The Land just feels like an intricate shopping mall to me. Not that that is a bad thing.:lookaroun

They have entirely different purposes. The argument can't be made that the Magic Kingdom would've been better if it was pavilions and EPCOT would've been better as lands. It makes no sense. They have completely different purposes and are put to use in different ways. EPCOT was meant to be updated quite easily, to keep it from getting stale. To be an ever-changing marketplace of ideas. Hence we have pavilions.

The Magic Kingdom was meant to be a timeless, complete-immersion entity. Hence there are lands.

I just can't say one is preferable to the other, because they are so different. Like I said, the question is irrelevant. It makes about as much sense as asking "which do you prefer: water towers, or lakes". :hammer:

n your right, they do have two entirely different purposes, hence the question is which one do you like MORE. And idk if its as far off of a compairson as you believe. The way disney parks are set up is either by lands or pavs (or crappy undefined 'lands' like at DHS). It's like asking your ride preference, rollar coasters or dark rides. They are different yes, but can they be put in the same space? does it come down to preference? yes

Hypocrite! You were constantly arguing with me that MILF fit in Tomorrowland! Also there is no leeway in Disney themeing, do not spread your opinions as facts. :wave:

yes i have argued with you that MILF fits the theme (among most of the people on WDW magic lol, almost no one agrees with me) and I still think it does.

IMO there is leeway in Disney themeing and imagineering, i mean i dont know how you CANT see that with all of the changes disney has gone through. Where is MS now? was it always like that? and how about UoE? What about the theming for DHS pre ToT? As i posted eairler, (i believe) themes are more concrete when your dealing with pavs, you pretty much have to overhaul (living seas) or wreck and start over (mission space) to re-theme. But with lands you can do it more over time and slowly integrate your new ideas over time.

Can you really say theres no leeway in Disney theming after looking at tomorrowland from it's inception to now? I mean i know i havent been alive that long, but im sure someone who has can shead some light on this. It seams to me like there going for a more kid friendly future, when before, Tomorrowland always seemed to me like the teen place, the older persons land. AE, Timekeeper, CoP, SM; they all seamed to me so grown-up. Now with Buzz, MILF, SGE, stitches horible celebration, I don't know how anyone could think that the theming for tomorrowland hasnt changed. I am utterly shocked CoP is still up and running and if they took that or TLSW down (after the SM) i wouldnt be suprised b/c of this re-theme.

and as for me "spreading my opinions as facts" im sorry but i dont do that. I've said multiple times that its my opinion and i feel this or that way, meaning its not set in stone AND ive asked for help or clarification MANY times from different posters. Ontop of that other posters have respectfully corrected some of my errors WITH facts and I openly admit there right. Maybe I do come off like i know everything about everything, but i dont mean so, and if your the only one believing this, maybe your just infering my words as something there not?
