i recently talked to the nun at my school who is in charge of student activites and affaris(catholic schools represent lol) and asked if we could do grad night. My mom did it as a senior trip back in 1972( as well as cyprus gardens and bahamian cruise yes, i am very jelous lol), and thought it would be fun to do a nother disney cruise later(our 2nd), but to do the colelge night with my best friends from ooutside of school as wekk as my friends from school. She said no b/c it would be to hard to manage..even though everybody at ourt school are saints...their insurance wouldnt cover it and she thought it would be to hard to orcastrate. My question is is there any way we can go and not be a part of my school???? i know it would not be until they host the class of '09, but would kinda like to start planning

No. It's not open to just anyone and has to be coordinated through your school.

(Grad Nite '95 represent! )
MissM is correct, but I recommend calling 1-888-779-1757 opt. 2 to speak with Disney Youth Group Programs and ask someone to send you a Grad Night Reservation Brochure. You could present this to your advisor and possibly have better luck! If all else fails and that doesn't work, you can call again and explain your situation. Ask them if you give them your school advisor's information if they can have a sales manager call your advisor and speak with them!

Sounds to me like Sister Spoildefun just doesn't like the idea, and she figures if she doesn't ask it won't go any further. As for coordinating, how hard is it to call Disney and set it up,get a permission slip signed by the students parents, collect the money from each student, and getting on the bus? I went to Grad Nite my Senior year, and once in the park Disney does keep an eye on everyone, and there are chaperones to do the same with each group, so what's the issue?! And the insurance issue, if your schools insurance covered the Disney cruise, why wouldn't they cover Grad Nite? No doubt the cruise is more of a liability than an event on dry land!:hammer:I'd talk to Sister Mary Clarence.:lookaroun:D
